Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Promo not working. Why am I not surprised?

  2. Agree!! And the 2 things I wanted went up on price and second is not part of 50 off! So what’s the point! Lol

  3. It’s so silly. It says “select” items 50 percent off but you have to go through all sale to figure that out, there wasn’t a specific category when I checked.
I only had a few items of interest and most are not included. Nothing I need so I will wait.

There is a new pair of sandals that are similar to last year’s Gretchen. Canvas sporty strap sandals Item AX918
    But
    $128.00?

The Classic-fit crisp cotton poplin shirtdress
Item AW560 was on sale yesterday $36.99 now back to 69.50. Insane....

  5. My J Crew purchases continue to be minimal this season, but I did pick up the cotton voile beach skirt over the weekend and I really like the fit. It will be perfect for a quick beach vacay coming up. I keep looking for happier, brighter items at J Crew and I think they really missed the mark on what people want coming out of lockdown. Beige sacks are not tempting me.

  6. I actually went into a store over the weekend -- the 5th Avenue flagship. I was in the neighborhood with my mom and we needed to get out of the sun and into air conditioning for a bit. Surprisingly lots of shoppers, though most were looking not buying. New arrivals were so boring - a lot of stuff looked like coverups. Lots of neutral, sun-washed colors, not many prints. The sale section was full since there was no extra % off. I tried on a few things in the sale section just to check on size/fit, like the Sophia sweater blazer and the Dover blazer, but not due to actual interest. I just checked on my order history for 2021 so far and I made 1 order per month (except April, due to birthday rewards) this year, and nothing over $100. JC is not earning my $$ this year.

  7. Well at least the sale section is updated with a category for extra 50 off. Still nothing for me but at least it’s easier to check.
I placed a few orders in January, a few in March (T-shirts) on sale) one in April and one in May (one item). I gave away or sold more than I kept. And it’s made me more mindful because I really don’t need or want much. (Though my girls were happy with what I gave them which is the best feeling.)

  8. No shopping for me. I’m still working on decluttering my excess. I still have a lot of winter clothes to sort. I’ll probably list some on Poshmark even though it’s not the right season.
