Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Thanks to a middle of the night alarm for medicine, I finally got to see a magic hour. And magic hour got me good. The new Flash promo worked on top of the old lowered prices from this weekend. I ordered the shirtdress, a linen button down, a cottage dress to try (the reviews are quite mixed), and a parke linen blazer. I’ll report back when I receive them and have a chance to try on.

    1. Excellent! I was up all night (but not for magic hour) and saw the 50% off promo but that was not enough for me to bite. I hadn't been to the mall for a few months but went in yesterday for a return. There were a few new arrivals I liked but didn't try anything on, wasn't in the mood. The sale section at my store was the most sparse I have seen it, ever.

The sale prices need to be lowered before I bite. I do love all crew button downs so I always like to pick them up at around $22-$25 to refresh my work wardrobe.

    2. I also am looking at some button downs for a looser fit but for me white button downs just don’t last that long and I am waiting for lower prices. I had a white eyelet from gap I got rid of and the crew one looks nice and crisp, plus the striped puff sleeve and the crimson and fuchsia stripe button down, which color wise may be a stretch for me.

    3. oh that's great, glad you scored some magic hour deals! I actually thought of trying it but got too tired/lazy. And now when I checked this AM things I was looking at are back to full price (and just a boring 25% off FP). Just a couple of linen skirts I'm eyeing at the moment but I expect them to come way down so I have no problem waiting it out. Hope your shoulder is doing ok!

    1. It was 3am est, so definitely different than the usual 12/1 timeframe. So weird!

  3. I wonder if cardlove or cardperks will return. Maybe in the summer?

  4. Reporting back on the Everlane clog sandals, figuring the current post will be more visible. I really like them but feel they’re a bit big for my feet. There is a lot of space around the diagonal straps around the heel. They look nice but I’m afraid the extra space will either rub uncomfortably or get caught on something. If it was a true wrap around I could make it tighter and add a hole to the ankle strap but it doesn’t seem possible.

    1. That sucks about the extra space. Thanks for the review.

    2. Oh well. I like the idea of them but something else will come along. Truthfully I’m happy with the espadrilles and if we continue walking to town for dinner they will be more useful.
