Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Happy mother's day to all the moms out there!

No visit for me. Waiting for a tank top to get here (mail innovations so it got to my local post office then took a trip to DC 🙄)

Also my entire poshmark closet is getting donated this weekend. If there's anything you like, get out now before it's gone! I've been spending too much on Poshmark and need to delete the temptation. @couchtot1

    1. I donated a bunch of Posh stuff recently and it felt so good to just get it out of the house!

I have to return new balance sneakers but not sure I'll make it this weekend. I have not been to the mall in quite some time, although I had gone frequently during the past year.
      Not looking forward to it.

  2. Hey everyone! No visit for me still as I continue to recover from shoulder surgery. I’m using small milestones in my recovery to reward myself with a new item. I’m looking now at the short sleeve shirtdress. This would be such a great summer wfh outfit (I think it works if I’ll be back in the office too). I’m also thinking of throwing in the linen button down as I’ve never owned one and I’m trying to cultivate a more laid back summer vibe. I’ll report back if I end up ordering these.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas!

  4. No visit for me either... and also no more retail therapy! I went into the office last week and this week, and my in-person spending has gone like a rodeo bull out of the holding pen. My friends also are at the end of their two-week waiting period after their second vaccine shots, so everyone's making summer travel plans. I've booked two trips in the past two days alone, so between the recent rampant shopping and the travel plans my credit card bill will be through the roof. I need to slow down!

    1. @eeps, great analogy lol! That’s great to hear that people are making travel plans, brings hope and optimism. I will finally get my first shot next week in Canada and I’m literally counting down to be able to travel safely. I hope that you’re enjoying being back in the office.

  5. I don't think that I will be going over the weekend. I used my rewards on the Elsie ankle-tie canvas pumps and I LOVE THEM (the extra 50% off made them a gem find)! I just saw the lace-up espadrilles and I AM IN LOVE! Since the stores usually don't have my size in stock, any shopping for them will be online. Happy Mother's Day for all the Momma JCAs! Enjoy the weekend everyone!

  6. I got one of my everlane orders with the d’orsay espadrille and the men’s air Oxford shirt in black and white stripe.

The espadrilles are really nice. I ordered two sizes because reviews were mixed but everlane shoes tend to fit me well when others say to size up. The half size smaller fits and the leather is soft so they will give. The half size larger is definitely too loose. If you’re in the market and can get these $49 is a steal. They look much more expensive I think.

I looked at the size chart and got the shirt in men’s small. The shoulders are comfortable, not too wide and the sleeves are nice and long. I think I will be looking more at men’s button down shirts because of my proportions. Overall very pleased and will pass down my more fitted button downs.

    1. Glad to hear the espadrilles fit. I went online to look for them. They are sold out. Did the clog sandals work out?

    2. They just shipped. I will let you know when I get them. Keep checking for the espadrilles. I regretted not getting them and just checked every so often and got lucky. Also I will be returning a 9 if that’s what you need.

  7. Husband and I went out to dinner. We walked so I needed to wear appropriate footwear. I felt like I was going to a wedding. It was so weird after not going out in forever. I ended up wearing my rag and bone leather pants. White stellas. New striped button down from everlane. Everlane black trench. JCrew silk leopard scarf and snakeskin print camera bag. We walked to town which is down hill. And then back up which was Much harder! But it felt great to get dressed. Of course we went to a very reputable place and it was great. Boy I’ve missed it.

    2. I received few of my orders! Love the Cashmere crewneck sweater with tulips, Item AW614. Keeper! Although it was pricey! $51
Pleat-front easy pant in 365 crepe, Item AV644. Fit TTS. Got my reg 2. The green are little loud, kinda bile green! The black are nice but I can’t figure out the belt! I always have trouble with it! Including shirts that have bows. So both are going back!
Relaxed-fit cashmere cardigan sweater, Item AW112. I like it. Bought it in rose color. But the matching shell cancelled 2x. So no point keeping I wanted a set! Will return!

Petite quilted cocoon puffer with PrimaLoft®
Item AQ919. This is the 3rd one I got. PXS was tight, XS reg swallowed me. PSmall seems good! It’s was $45 so I will think it about it.

7" eco pool short, Item J0057 for hubby! TTS. He likes them! They were $11, so keeper!

Few bargains on the way... for the $7, $14, $26 categories! Keep you all posted!

    4. Thank you Jan! Funny thing was seeing myself on RING as we walked up the driveway. Maybe the trench was a little much. Lol! But I have to say I was perfectly warm and comfortable wearing it so who cares.

    5. @Suz - I also regularly check out my outfit on my security cameras. It gives me a much better picture of how it looks than any mirror. I’m often surprised at how flattering (or unflattering) a garment looks. I was especially chagrined by the saggy butt of some of my looser fitting boyfriend jeans and sweats. In the Goodwill bag they went.

  8. Happy Mother’s Day to me—I got the lady day coat in shimmer tweed today. Item AT697. Honestly it’s so much nicer than it looks online. The tweed is not silvery like it looks in the pic. It fits comparable to the old lady day coat which I have in a size 4—I ordered a 6 and it fits a little smaller through the shoulders than some of my other coats. I could have gotten the 8 but the 6 fits over a sweater so it’s fine.
In comparison to the other lady coat I got in Dec (double breasted in ivory) the quality is much nicer. That’s much lighter weight but the wider collar works better with a heavy sweater.
