Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Following up on previous posts, I am proud of myself for NOT stopping by after some returns (elsewhere) today. I did look online and should not be surprised that was was 50/20 or 60/20 percent off is now only 50.

I am excited to be hosting my parents and sister’s family outdoors on Sunday. I don’t have much thats pastel or easter/spring colors so not sure if I will try to dress for the occasion, but wishing all a nice weekend.

    1. You should be proud of yourself! Wishing you a wonderful Easter weekend with the family. Sounds like a great way to spend the holiday weekend. I'm going to be with family too, small bubble, but feels good since everyone is fully vaccinated or has at least 1 shot.

    2. @SuzHas, that took will power I’m sure! That sounds like a lovely Easter! I hope the weather is great!

@Mygoddy, that’s amazing to hear that your family is vaccinated and can enjoy Easter! I hope you have a great day! I was able to get my mom an appointment but not until next week. Things are improving for vaccines in Canada but we’re only at age 70+ (and healthcare workers) in Ontario where I live.

    3. @Suz Has, in the Greek Orthodox Church we consider red to be a very traditional & festive color for Easter. This is based on a story about Mary Magdalene who turned white a egg red in front of the Roman emperor Tiberius. So the first Easter egg was red.

    4. Well, RED I can certainly do!

My parents are fully vaccinated, I got my first shot Tues and husband, sister and brother in law all go tomorrow! My kids are all away but my youngest gets hers at school in NY next week. My niece and nephew are too young. We have all been careful and will continue, but I know our small group is safe. (Poor kids still only have virtual school.)

Tomorrow I intend to get the yard ready for bocce and crocquet, clean up a bit and do some cooking. It will be so nice to spend time together I know none of it really matters but it’s the perfect opportunity to take care of things I’ve ignored since it’s just been the two of us for awhile.

    5. I knew you'd like the idea of red!

Croquet on the lawn with family sounds lovely after a year of hiding.

    6. PBanos, speaking of Greek, for some reason I decided to do a somewhat Greek/Mediterranean inspired menu. I think because we all loved the Greek salad my sister got for my dads birthday. I was going to try and get to the Greek store in Kenilworth but that didn’t happen.

    7. @pbanos, I didn’t know about Red for Easter. Love the story.
@SuzHas, that sounds like a delicious menu. It’s wonderful to hear that your daughter can get hers soon. As for young kids having virtual school, I really feel for them. My kids have been back in school since September (we all only had to go online for 4 weeks after Christmas) which has been great for them. They hate masks but otherwise it’s been good.

    8. @Suz Has so your outfit will coordinate perfectly with the menu! I know the store in Kenilworth, they do carry real stuff.

I don't know what I will wear for Easter yet, but I have an extra week to decide due to differences in the church calendar. But highly likely it will be J Crew!

  2. The Square-Neck Top in Stretch Knit Seersucker (AW133) is nice! I bought it in both colors (blue and white stripe, and white). It's a loose top, it is indeed stretchy but doesn't look like a knit, and the sleeves can be pushed up easily (comfortable wide elastic in the sleeves).

  3. Ordered the oversized cashmere wrap in camel AT813. It was $46 US with today's GOODEGG promo on US website compared to the $160.99 on the Canadian website. Also ordered Liberty Danjo shirt AW0222 $34.80 US vs $144 Cdn.

For Canadian JCAs who missed the "how to" details re ordering from the US website ia a cross-border shipping service (I am using Shippsy), I posted the details Mon March 15 on this website.

    1. Hi Toronto Modern, I’m getting more tempted by the US site because Canada hasn’t had a promo for weeks. I worry about sizing though. At least your choices above sound like safe bets. I’m so annoyed that after the big production of changing shipping nothing good has come of it. My package still came through Canada post and we’re still left out of promos.

    2. I hear you Jan! I thought things were going to improve for us Canadians as well but it looks like that’s not meant to be. Seems shipping is slower now? I placed an order on March 17 and just received it yesterday. I have never waited so long to receive a package in all the years I have ordered from them. I’m tempted to try Shippsy as well because of Toronto Modern’s recommendations but, like you, am unsure about sizing these days and don’t want to get stuck with items that don’t fit.
