Stopped in store briefly for a return. Saw a cute cashmere sweater with white background, charcoal stripes and 5 little bows on the stripes in the same color (intarsia print). Doesn't appear to be online. AT821. Regular price was 30% off, sale 60% off. Still plenty of giraffe pants but pricier in store than online.

DeleteIf you are thinking about the Tipped sweater-jacket Item AQ387, it's beautiful and substantial. I got the navy and took my "smaller size" as it runs a bit large. Not as soft as old Tippis, but not itchy.
ReplyDeleteWent in today to do a return of something I was able to purchase at a much lower price (the next day!) Sale dept was so small that there was nothing at all for children and men’s was one rack. Extra 30% off sale. Had my little one with me so did not look at new stuff. People seemed to be shopping.
ReplyDeleteOh, also returned the lace button up in teak. It was pretty, but lack of need and lack of wow factor made me return it. I rarely reach for blouses.
DeleteCan you describe the teak color? Was it a pink-beige, as it appears on my monitor or more of a yellow-beige? Like you, I'm not sure where I'll wear a lace blouse but it looks pretty.
DeleteIt looks like the online picture. There was no yellowish undertone at all (that I definitely would have noticed).

ReplyDeleteNot impressed with the flash sale. Everything in my cart is more than the last sale - even the Black Friday preview sale yielded better prices. Nothing for me.

ReplyDeleteSame not as impressed! Tried to buy the denim bow shirt last night and the discount disappeared around 1am. So I let it go. Did pick up a few causal tops for my college daughter! For her zoom classes!

Delete@Kate, AU 228 arrived and it's already been sent back. This is a big fail period. The reviews posted on the website are very accurate but one thing I will add the sizing is off.

ReplyDelete@swp in nova, I received item AU 255, Brilliant Sapphire Multi if you're referring to this one. Colors are gorgeous, ran a little small in the chest on me and I reordered. VPS had given me the actual measurements from the vendor too. Sizing was off.
DeleteI think that some people up at the Great JCrew Beyond the Sky were more aware of the confluence of Daylight Savings Time, Hallowe’en, and the Blue Moon than others. ‘Nuff said. Will be back to complain if things don’t ship.
ReplyDelete@wellfredfred, I don't believe you are going to be happy if you purchased AU228 the bow tied denim shirt. It flew back out the door to be returned after trying on. The reviews are accurate.
