ReplyDeleteI purchased the silk twill giraffe shirt for $40 very early this morning. I'm hoping that was a good price. Since it was final sale, I sized up just in case. Fingers crossed it fits.
ReplyDeletei have some returns to do. i bought the Turtleneck poncho (Item AR947) in two colors/sizes. i originally bought the green in XS (i'm normally an XS/S) and i thought it was too big. plus i just wasn't feeling the green color. i reordered (for even cheaper... yay!) the poncho in black and XXS which i feel fits a little better and i like it in black more, but it's very heavy... and i'm not sure i'm going to keep it. i'll decide for sure today and then head over for returns.

ReplyDeleteA blazer I bought last week is now on sale for under $90, I paid over $160 when originally purchased. I sent a note over to CS and they of course refused, so I just repurchased and will return the higher priced item. They did respond to me in a few hours, which I thought was great. Usually takes a full day!
ReplyDeleteMy $14.99 silk giraffe pants arrived today, just two days after a store did a charge-send to me. Beautifully wrapped in tissue paper with the receipt, in a plastic bag. Better packing job than when I order online! I didn't realize they were JC Collection, still can't believe the price I paid. I got my usual easy pants size, fits TTS, colors are great. Can't wait to wear them... and also can't stop thinking about the giraffe dress now...
ReplyDeleteI went over to that store (Richmond, VA @ Short Pump) and purchased those pants. I am 5'3", 105 lbs., and the 00 fit me. The 0 was too large. It's a 2-hour drive, but it's now the closest store to me. Everyone who works there is very nice.

Unknown, the giraffe pants were also $14.99 at the Yorkdale store in Toronto last week (which with the exchange rate makes them even cheaper than in the US lol). And I got the dress version for the sale price of $67. The discrepancy between the website and the store is mystifying

Everlane authentic stretch skinny jeans from Rack. Once I tried these it’s hard to wear any other skinny jeans. I’m hoping for a spare pair to cut the hem.
From Everlane I ordered two pairs of their soft wide leg jeans (full length) in different colors/sizes and a kick crop since this style is still around.
From Nordstrom I ordered an Alex Mill cropped coverall.
Also got my Stella McCartney star laceups and love them more than I thought. I’m going to continue to stalk to find a metallic pair. If I do I might get rid of all my other shoes. 😉
Does anyone have any thoughts on JC's featherweight cashmere these days? Several years ago I swore I would never even look at anything called featherweight b/c I would get holes in the first wear. Looking at the ribbed featherweight cashmere tees though... I love ribbed sweaters, and these got good reviews...
