  1. Not a vent. Received the first of my orders from the 60% off super sale. Received giraffe shirtdress; it's very cute and the colors are versatile. Fit is tts. I wear a medium and took my normal size with room in the arms and shoulders and no pulling in the bust. I'm just over 5.8. and the dress hits just above my knees. I also paired with the silk giraffe pants and the combo works well. Nice option for WFM attire. Comfortable and still professional looking for videoconferencing.

    1. Ooh exciting. Mine just shipped yesterday (one order of 8 items, now coming in 6 packages, all shipped on different days this week but 4 arriving tomorrow. My mailman is going to kill me).
I ordered one size up because I always have problems with my fat forearms and shoulders in JC tops. Now I'm a little worried I may have sized up too much.

    2. Received most of my sale orders today.

Tiered cotton voide dress in floating sunflowers (lemon ochre). Tall Medium. Fit is large, so will need to have it altered in underarum. I"m kinda meh. Color is pretty and it's a 3 season dress. For $16 I can definitely make it work.

Tiered maxi dress in stripe. Fit tts. One reviewer commented that fabric feels like a shower curtain and sadly I must concur :(. I love the pockets and the dress is cute, but the fabric is a disappointment. Definitely not worth the price tag of $250, but for $16 I feel okay since that's a reasonable price for a shower curtain (lol).

Palm print oversized cardigan. Fit is tts. Cardigan is oversized, but not sloppy. I really like the relaxed fit. Happy with this purchase and it works with the sequin flower pants from spring.

Chambray cover up dress in stripe. Fit tts. The bust runs tts with the elastic, so I would not recommend sizing down. It's heavier than a cover up, so can be worn as a dress. This will be cute for next spring/summer and vacation whenever that resumes.

Snowy lodge tartan mocassins. Fit tts. Definitely a winner.

Sequin stripe skirts. Fit tts. Skirts are really pretty and I'm surprised at how much I like the brown/pink combo; it's very pretty. The blue/white had a flaw. A white sequin was missing and against the blue backdrop you can see it. It's an easy repair since you can take a sequin from inside the skirt. But disappointing. For $14, I won't be sad for long :).

Edie Parker weekend special fruit cocktail tshirt. Size down. It's definitely oversized. For $6, it's a really cute option. Already paired with denim shorts and can see this being a summer favorite.

    3. @Mygoddy, I'd be happy to sew a sequin for a great $14 skirt too! Enjoy the shower curtain.

  2. Ribbed mockneck sweater tank
    Item AQ373
Got this after eyeing it for awhile. Black, size small. It fits me as shown on the model shot in ivory but way shorter. Cropped and boxy on my long torso, which is not unexpected, though I’m o ly 5’6” and I’m sure the model is taller.. I could have tried the Xs But I felt having it fit tighter would not help. I can barely tuck it with my highest rise pants but it’s cute when I do. The cotton knit is nice, perfect for this time of year as a layering piece and might work with a button down under (and peeking out front and back) although that is not my preferred look for my shape, I might give it a shot.
I already wore it to a client meeting yesterday Tucked in with my Everlane perfect pleat pants, a skinny snake belt and white platform oxfords. (Wore a denim jacket but realized my long linen blazer would have been perfect too).

    3. Any size advice on the collared sweater?

    4. Giraffe Dress arrived. Very cute and well made. For $10.00 this was certainly a steal. TTS. Lila e cashmere arrived recently. Pretty color but not as soft so says my neighbor mentioned. Waiting for the Autumn tweed blazer tomorrow, Kiki tweed shoes and the featherweight cashmere sweater tee in dazzling yellow. Hoping this color is different from the other Dazzling yellow. At least it’s returnable.

    5. In terms of size for cashmere sweater! It’s a loose fit
I got xs which is my size. I do size up in the crew necks to small. However I would not go to XXS, the arms might of been to tight! It’s very gentle and elegant. I wore it yesterday WFH, my mistake was keeping my pajama pants! So it felt like I am wearing pajamas! But it looks nice with pants and jeans! It’s shorter sweater and loose in the body! But I like it!

  6. Got 4 items from my big sale order of 8 today:
belted tunic dress - love. I got it in my usual JC dress size and it is still a little loose. For some reason the pink/green looks nightgownish while the pink/blue that I also have looks tropical and fun. But love the dress in general, it is light and airy but not see-through. I'll be living in this on my next vacation... whenever that is.
floral blockprint swim bottom - I got it in a M, which I thought given my quarantine weight gain would be the right size since all my JC swimsuits in S are fitting tight rn. These bottoms are huge. I am going to have a wardrobe malfunction if a wave pulls me down.
gold capri sandals - I got my usual shoe size, it is a tiny bit too short. Should have gone 1/2 size up.
vintage NYC tee - see-through, but cute. Fits TTS, the embroidered apple is adorable.
sweater jacket with fringe - I got in my usual JC sweater size, and it is huge. I thought the texture and fabric would be more structured, like a tweed. It is more like a loose knit cotton. It is very stretchy and heavy, and I can tell it will stretch just being hung or worn. Wish I could exchange for a smaller size or that I can return. Hope it shrinks.
black lace cami - got in my usual top size, is wide in the body.
Ratti lilac dress - OMG I look so mumsy in this but the quality is so good for what I paid. The fabric has a slight sheen that I don't like and the front ruffles are bit much, but the colors are lovely, the pockets are lovely, the fabric buttons are lovely, the invisible side zip is lovely, the lining is lovely, the pleats are lovely... Basically I'm very happy for the price I paid. I went with a size up from my usual JC dress size, and its a little loose in the bust but fits right at the waist, which is my usual problem area with JC waisted silhouettes.

Still waiting on the giraffes dress, which hasn't shipped yet.

    1. I had seen that sweater after Alexis posted it on IG. I don’t think she liked it, the black I saw was very gray and it really looked not much like the online pic, not sure what you paid but unless it was a steal and it works around the house I’d try to return!

    2. I second Suz. If you tell them the sizing is off, or if the measurements are off, they should agree to make an exception. That’s how I was able to return that open knit crochet sweater that came in grape and white. It was huge.

    3. Actually Alexis liked it. I got it bc she looked great in it. She didn’t say anything about the fabric or fit though. I paid $35.xx so not a huge loss. I haven’t had luck getting JC to allow returns for FS so Im not going to bother. I’m Ok with one lemon in a big pile of FS deals.

    4. Oh you’re right. She liked the ivory, hated the black. I didn’t notice the ivory review she posted. I just remember seeing the faded black and seeing it in store and thinking it looked worn.

    5. Augh, I didn't see her followup post on the black one! Mine actually doesn't look faded like hers - the color is consistently a true black. God knows how it will look after wash

  7. I was going to report about the big apple tee. The embroidered apple was a surprise. Agreed it’s sheer. I sized up to a small which and I’m glad because it’s a fitted style but it’s cute. I’m not much of a tshirt person but I’m sure I’ll make use of it. The artwork is pretty. I knew it was ivory but wish it was white, BTW.

    1. @Suz, I really like the big apple tee. I too, sized up and wear it with your favorite color ( black)jeans and with a Margot cropped sweater blazer in black with red ballet flats.

    2. I think it’s called the big Apple tee. I actually ordered it prior to Friday but still paid a fair price.
