I ordered the navy/red poppy silk boy shirt today. I always fall for silk shirts.

DeleteI’m contemplating FINALLY ordering the Nordic boots in Natural leather. I’m hesitating for some reason, although I do like them and love my black ones.
ReplyDeleteWell placed the order and included waffle pajama joggers in red and the turtleneck tunic in black. These will be great loungewear and I have matching vests, etc.

DeleteI'm also like/unsure about it. Bet the smooth grain leather is better in wet weather than the suede ones we already have.
Realizing they’re leather and not the suede made me take the chance on them. What I’m not sure of most is that I tend to wear the fur turned up on the ankle and I haven’t seen these this way. For the most part I’ll wear them over leggings to yoga and errands so it’s not a huge deal. Also my daughter is headed to school in a colder area so when we visit it’s always nice to have warm boots. I’m sure they’ll be fine.

ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Day JCAs! I wore silk heart print shirt with Collection leather leggings in navy and a leather jacket. Decided to bite on a few things since recent new arrivals are already on sale. Ordered botanical bees silk print shirt and pants. Also ordered tunic hoodie sweatshirt in fleece in navy. This is older, but I think it will be really good for a casual look with denim and travel. Finally, listed items on Poshmark and I've had my first sales, so using those funds to purchase a few things.
ReplyDeleteI’m in a massive purge phase and haven’t purchased anything (from anywhere!) since before Christmas. It’s nice to have a break from the purchase/return loop I feel like I’m always in with the crew. Anyways, I’m throwing away all of my sloans and just really sad that they haven’t reissued this lovely shoe that was such a huge hit for them. I tend to find a style of shoe then wear them to death for a few years. I held onto the sloans hoping to wear them again but they are just too stretched out and worn to look professional enough for my job. So sad! Thought some could commiserate on this.

DeleteI’ve had lots of ballet flats and pumps that have stretched out with minimal wear. I also had a pair of sloanes from factory that did the same. I’m reluctant to buy that type of shoe because I feel like once they’re too big, forget it, they fall off.
Liz I agree about the Sloan’s! JCrew if you are reading bring back the Sloans or some similar D’Orsay flat. I have multiple pairs and save them for sunny days to make them last as long as possible. The collection jeweled ones are my favorite! I would buy more in a heart beat!

Delete@shoppingcelle I never scored the jeweled pair though I stalked eBay for what felt like years. The gingham was my favorite and I would buy every color and pattern like you if there was a reissue!

I visited my store. Sale was 50 not 60 off. I think I even got an email saying stores were 60 off but maybe it said UP TO 60. At any rate they’re not giving me any reason to visit my store and its sad sale section.

ReplyDeleteI ended up buying the Roller Rabbit pajamas for $16.99. IMHO, the quality is not as soft as regular Roller Rabbit, but for $16.99, I couldn't pass them up.
