J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

    Cherry T-shirt $16... and embroiled Cameron $44
    Overall not bad... but not cheap...

    1. I woke up and considered the flowered Academy loafers and ended up passing. The price was good, but I don't need one more pair of shoes.

      Received the wool/cashmere men's Ludlow topcoat for my husband ordered at the end of the last additional 60% off sale. For $50! It's a lovely coat, fits a tiny bit bigger than his 2017/8 version, but not bulky at all. There are still some listed at $129, less the 35% still not a bad deal.

    2. Those are some good deals! I almost bought those shoes too and a few other things, but decided against it. I just had a pretty big purge, so definitely trying to be more selective.

  2. Received the BUTTON-FRONT JACKET IN WATERCOLOR BEGONIAS PRINT and THREE-QUARTER SLEEVE JACKET IN MATELASSÉ in BRILLIANT SUNSET. I typically take a 2 in J. Crew jackets/blazers and both of these fit well in the 2 so they are TTS. They both have a very cute classic, retro feel. Colors are beautiful and saturated on both. The Begonias print has the "reimagined" sustainability label (yay!). Can't wait to wear them!

    1. Luxette I love the Matelasse jacket too in the the orange but wonder to what to wear it with other than a white t-shirt and jeans. Any ideas? The navy one will be easier to style but I like the orange one better.

  3. Picked up Collection Double Faced Cashmere Popover in navy during 50% off sale. Stacked with a 15% off, so very reasonable. I really like this style (have the camel color too). Fit is relaxed and tts. Can be dressed up or down. Wore today with Collection Double Faced Cashmere bodysuit (the navy matches popover) and toothpicks. I also have the Collection Double Faced Cashmere Blazer, but there are times I want to look “put together,” without a blazer. The popover is a very good alternative. For the price and quality, J Crew Collection cashmere is still a really good option,

    2. I love them too, but agree they’re pricey, even on sale. Will definitely last for years.
