Not really complaining but I received my last order twice. It took them more than a week to ship me a soap and the silk windowpanel tank. I got 1 tank and the soap and 3 days later another tank and a soap. I have been checking my credit card to make sure they don't charge me the 2 shipment because I am not gonna double pay for their mistake.ReplyDelete
Loved the Wool bomber sweater jacket (#09008) until I first wore it for a full day. Pills are coming off the sleeves and sides of the sweater in sheets! No kidding. Beware.ReplyDelete
Okay the can of worms has been opened and this is as direct and candid as it gets. What is the stuff you call merino at JC these days? I have 100 percent Merino sweaters from 2002, 2004 and 2008 without a pill in sight. Oh and a 2004 made in Malaysia JC argyle merino cardie I got used from ebay that looks better than the JC sweaters I got 6 months ago! Years of wear and cold hand-washing and absolutely no piling. Bring back that old quality PLEASE. I refuse to buy another merino sweater from JC that pills after 8 hours of wear regardless of how yummy the colors. Oh and all those code words, whisper thin, delicate, breezy etc is code for crappy quality. Are you listening Mickey? I bet you won't be seen dead in most of what you offer us today.
JC—This blog is your greatest resource for customer feedback, I don't think there is another retailer out there that has vocal customers like us. JC, listen to your customers and quit letting the margins dictate what you offer.
Okay getting off soapbox now...
I am beyond frustrated with J.Crew Factory right now. I sent back a bikini top I ordered to exchange it for the next size up, and what do they do? They process it as a return instead. Are they serious? Now if I want the new size, I have to repurchase it. They're sending me a gift card minus the $5 return label fee, and the top is $5 more than when I ordered it AND I'll have to pay shipping. Instead of paying $5 extra for an exchange, I'm now paying $15. How is their returns department so incompetent?! I filled out the form as it told me to!ReplyDelete
I have a local store for returns. NEVER again am I going to send something back for an exchange. That was the first and last time. I am just appalled at them.
twnetysomethingsimple - That's not being handled properly. They can look at your order and send the bikini top to you at the price you paid, with free shipping. I would also quibble about the $5 return fee if you weren't supposed to be charged that.Delete
Thanks for your reply! I sent them an email venting my frustrations after I was on the phone with them and all the guy replied was "looks like we took care of this earlier!" Uh...no. Not really. I was going to reply back and ask for free shipping but it didn't seem like enough. I think I'll call back tomorrow when my gift card should have a number (apparently it didn't have one today?) and have them send me a new top. This is so frustrating.Delete
My J Crew Emma flats have damage on the front of the shoe after 2 days of wear. The color is sunbaked orange and some of the leather lining on the top stripped off. :( Has anyone else had any issues with J Crew flat?ReplyDelete
I ordered the silk pocket blouse in bright persimmon which appears bright red online, but is in fact road cone orange... And I find the spandex mix to be uncomfortable and stuffy. The maren cross strap sandal I received in the same shipment came with a mangled strap which is annoying since the store doesn't carry the metallic ones. Bleh. Just annoyed all together.ReplyDelete
