Last Day: Extra 40-50% Off Sale

J.Crew is sending out yet another email, reminding customers that they are still running 40% off Final Sale (& 50% off select items) with promo code HAPPYSALE. This offer expires today, February 4, 2014. 

Over at their Sale (click here to shop online) section, there are 1100+ for Women and 500+ for Men. The sale section is still large, but not as large has it had been in the past few weeks (with 1500+ items for women showing up on a regular basis).

Also, as many of you have noticed and commented, brick & mortar stores have packed up most of their sale items to ship back to the warehouses. We may see some increases in stock for the sale items in the upcoming weeks.

    got up early this morning to check the jewelry sale section, and was SO excited to see 104 items! and then I clicked through and realized that probably 90 percent of them are sold out. sigh.

      It shipped! Yay! And it's not the triangle one. It's the metal and crystal one that kind of looks like hearts. Very excited.

    I was able to snag the silk sweatshirt in navy. Thanks, Gigi, for reviewing it!
    There was only a size 10, but as I usually avoid drycleaning and prefer to wash it (delicate cycle) it will probably shrink just a little bit and fit more like a size 8., which is my usual size. Have done this before and it usually works out fine. I also find it more eco friendly, cheaper and nothing beats the scent of a freshly laundered shirt.
    Any similar (or worse) experiences?

    OT: One week from today, J.Crew will show at NY Fashion Week their Fall 2014 collection; look for the photos online.

    I always look forward to these so I know what is trending fall season. Exciting!

    Yes, I did. My lovely VPS located a Embossed Floral Sweater in navy for me. I forgot about it and when I remembered, it was all sold out on the website.

    Does anyone have the contrast collar coat? How do you like it? Does it fit TTS?

      I wear Sz 2 in the majesty and convertible toggle, but went down to a 0 in the contrast collar. CS gave me the chest measurements and the 0 is similar to a 2 in my other JCrew coats

      Thanks! Is the beige stone as pink as it looks online? I was leaning towards the antique white, but I am terrified of committing to a white coat!

      If you google the coat, the color is more similar to the Pinterest pic with the model in the windowpane dress. Not as pink as the Jcrew online pic. It's a lovely color, very neutral .

      Agreed--a terrific neutral. The beige stone is just a drop of soft pink in the mix. One wouldn't look at the coat and say "that's a pink coat" If you get it, you'll love it!

    I missed out on the Collection Italian Paisley Shirtdress (Sz 0) and the Jacquard Floral dress (Sz 0). If anyone sees either/both of these dresses in-stores/online could you PLEASE let me know?

    HAPPYSALE is still working for 40% off promo & sale. Should be good thru 11:59 PST. Big vote for the classic schoolboy in navy, which nets $95 and not on final sale.

    I reviewed the 'new' schoolboy in this post. It's also on promo and nets $107. I have some measurements for both new & classic. And photos. I took 6P in classic & 8P in the 'new.'
