"Thanks!" to Whitney (in this post), as well as Taylor, who let us know about the following J.Crew sighting.
J.Crew's Tipped Double-Serge Hacking Jacket (item 50051; $298.00) was spotted on Gwyneth Paltrow at the LAX airport. Check out Lainey's Gossip (click here) see more on this story (& more images).
Ms. Paltrow does look really good with that entire outfit. Especially considering those images came after a ten hour flight. After a ten-hour flight, I look like a bad after-school special with my drugged-up self wearing wrinkled clothes, disheveled hair, and bags under my eyes. Ugh.
Did you catch Ms. Paltrow wearing J.Crew? Did you catch J.Crew on another celebrity somewhere else? If so, please share! :)
LOL at your post-long-haul flight description, Alexis! Thanks for the shout-out :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing Whitney! :)
Deleteon 30Rock last week Jenna (Jane Krakowski) was wearing the Factory Resin Droplet Necklace in Citrus Lime...
ReplyDeleteThe tipped hacking looks great on her.
ReplyDeleteI think Jane also wore the yellow bubble necklace on the most recent live episode of 30 Rock, too! It was when she was playing Dusty Springfield in one of the tv flashbacks! I'm getting good at spotting the Crew!
ReplyDeleteWhoops--was talking about the same thing as Marisa!
DeleteI agree with Gigi. The jacket really does look great on her.
ReplyDeleteTamu from All the Pretty Birds recently wore the J.Crew Fresco floral peplum top and café capri at Paris Fashion week: click here.
ReplyDeleteI saw that... this 'hook-up' just doesn't work.
DeleteI've not been able to see Blogspot blogs for months now while overseas, I don't quite know why. That's partly why I closed down my blog, because I couldn't see it anyway. So it's a treat to be stateside and able to check in. Hello to all of you!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to the states! :)
Deletemissed you, D, welcome back!
DeleteHi Dinster! Nice to hear from you. Hope all is well.
DeleteWelcome back Dinster! :)
DeleteGlad to see you are ok. Could it be because the country you were in bans Blogger?
DeleteI lusted after this jacket all winter and didn't know how to wear it. If anyone spots one in store I'm looking for a size 2. Thank you!! Karenturk1gmail
ReplyDeleteDear lord, I wish I looked that good after a few hours of prep, lol!
ReplyDeleteIn tangentially related news, my B&M (Durham, NC) had 3 tipped linen schoolboy jackets marked down to $129.99 -- I hink there was a 4, a 12 and a 00. had my size been there I probably would have grabbed it, such a beautiful jacket! Sigh...
Also, you'll be happy to know that the feather paisley tunic was FINALLY marked down to $49.99 in-store (still FP online). I bought it even though it will probably be an extra 30% off this week online so I'll need to reorder it, but I'd rather be sure I have one. Now all I need is the matching suit to go on sale and I'm all set for the pool / beach! :)
Congrats! I love that print. I'm a fellow paisley lover for swimsuits.
DeletePathos, I swore up and DOWN that I would not buy anymore swimsuits this year, but this is the one I'm making an exception for. Must have it! I can only wear printed bathing suits because the print distracts the eye away from problem areas (lol) and I think the right print can hide lumps and bumps better than plain fabric. Plus I'm a messy marvin and always run the risk of getting something on me no matter what I'm wearing, lol.
ReplyDeletedinster - so that's why your blog link isn't feeding. Missed you and good to hear from you!
ReplyDeleteZooey Deschanel wore the pink and white striped henley on "New Girl".
ReplyDeleteI saw a girl on the "The Office", the receptionist wearing the pintucked shell that was recently on sale. I was also recently at Disney world and I saw at least 5 people wearing the fanfare print in its various forms!
ReplyDeletePathos, sent you an email. I saw the jacket in size 2 and 4 in J Crew, Park Meadows Mall, Colorado. HTH.
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit, but she looks like she's living five months in the future. Does anybody else see this outfit and think of fall? Don't get me wrong, I love gray & navy, especially with the maroon suitcase (so 90s...in a good way!)
ReplyDelete:) Jen
