"Thanks!" to Irina, who shared the following email from J.Crew yesterday.The email features a few insights from Gayle Spannaus, J.Crew's Fashion Designer and Head Stylist. It reminds me a bit of Jenna's Picks emails, this time it is more advice column like.
The email is broken down here into three parts although it was one long piece sent to customers. The first part focuses on "How to wear color: bright pants two ways", the second part "Try a hot pink lip", and the third part, "Add one bold extra."
The section about getting to know Gayle is a nice touch at the end of the email. It is great to see another employee who has been in the J.Crew family for a long time. I like it when they profile someone else working at J Crew. I admit to a little bit of Jenna fatigue, even though I don't really dislike her.
