ReplyDeleteThe American Observer: Not a dumb question at all. J.Crew's CEO (Mickey Drexler) started a new company, Madewell, to be a hipper & younger version of J.Crew (in other words less preppy). It is trying to attract more of the younger crowd.
ReplyDeleteMickey bought the retail name Madewell, a former workwear company, because he really liked it. But the new Madewell is nothing like the old Madewell.
