J.Crew updated its sale section (click here) today. The new sign reads, "the Forever Summer Sale (we're in denial)". I am not going to lie, I was hoping to see some additional percent off in the final sale. So a new image got me excited and then disappointed. ;)On a bright note, there are lots of new Fall items that are now on sale (which appeared in the sale section yesterday). :)

I also was sure there would be an additional 20% off today. I think that they should re-name the sale- forever summer inventory and absolutely need a big % off blowout. I mean really J crew it is OCTOBER!!!

Went back right away and the page is displaying the "We're sorry..." message so I hope it is mine, at last. Loving the 60's shift style this year especially, with all the Mad Men retro influence on fashion. This print is so gorgeous IRL and looks amazing with my complexion. ReplyDeleteHi Tracey - yep! I used it on the black Tarrytown Quinn. But you can only use it on one item. I tried to add something else and it didn't apply. I re-read the code and it does state that it can be applied to one item only.

ReplyDeleteI guess I must have drawn the long straw this time because 1. bathing suit I was looking for was available in a decent color for me in not one but two possible sizes 2. my items were not marked final sale 3. I got free shipping apparently! I spent over $50 and have a JC card, so I'm not sure if that makes a difference, but I'm pleased :)

I finally just called CS to place my order. Was on hold FOREVER. Finally got to a rep who said yes, the code wasn't working but she would either take my order over the phone or apply a credit if I had already checked out online. Now how is that for customer service, on top of an enticing sale? Wish all m favorite retailers were like this ~ahem~

ReplyDeleteI am NOT ordering the terra paisley suit for that reason: the pattern issue esp. with final sale. Placement of the pattern is important esp. with a swimsuit that you want to be flattering. Your comment also made me look twice at the pattern and the lower half--looks--well, a bit suggestive of female organs. I would not feel comfortable in it. My hubby laughed and said No way for me to get it either:)
