J.Crew Jacket Survives (& Looks Good) After Post-Apocalyptic War {well, kind of...}

In a post over at Por Homme (click here), the author spotted J.Crew in an odd place... a still of the new film Terminator Salvation. (Remember those Terminator movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger? This is the fourth installment, about a post-apocalyptic war between man & machine starring Christian Bale & Bryce Dallas Howard.)

The author writes "One of them happened to be the one pictured above that shows John Connor (played by Christian Bale) sporting a J.Crew Aviator Jacket ($550). Even with the blood shed and battling, John Connor has to stay comfortable, amiright?"

Oh, J.Crew, where will you be spotted next!?! ;)

  2. That's too funny, I just saw the new trailer yesterday & I swore that jacket looked familiar. It is a pretty amazing trailer by the way, you should all check it out. Yes, I do love these sort of movies. Can't wait to see it.

  3. Lets see some logic...

    I love JCrew.

JCrew leather jacket seen hugging the body of Christian Bale.

So what, thats like only 2 steps away from ME hugging Christian Bale! (Loved him in Little Women haha) Perfect!

    Great JCrew sighting haha.

  6. I've loved Christian Bale ever since 'Newsies.' ♥♥♥

For more "as seen on TV" - Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel's Passport to Great Weekends almost always has at least one J.Crew piece in her luggage on every trip! The website has a list of all her outfits.

  7. I love Christian Bale (as an actor of course)! And when he's not cursing out people on the set, or his mom and sis. Just joking :)

    Thanks for the post!

  8. There is quite a bit of J.Crew worn by the cast in The New Adventures of Old Christine. The last episode I watched, Barb was wearing the equestrian ribbon print dress and then the argyle cardi in another scene. (Old) Christine wore the 3/4 sleeve stretch shirt in warm blush and I'm sure her jeans were J.Crew as well. I've also seen (new) Christine wear the Jennifer shirtdress and Matthew has worn at least one of the graphic tees from past seasons.

I've been watching the show for a couple seasons and only recently spotted J.Crew so if I watch any reruns now I will keep my eyes open. The ladies definitely rock the J.Crew!

  9. Maybe the Crew is to blame for Christian Bale's ranting! He probably bought the jacket full price and was a day late calling for his price adjustment and got denied! tee, hee.

  10. Last night on The Biggest Loser, Allison Sweeney was wearing the velvet Ecole jacket in olive green. It is a beautiful jacket but it looked weird on her because she was at least 6 months pregnant AND it was paired with a multicolored striped scarf. Not awful, but just strange...

  11. I heart that man very much. And he makes some damn fine movies as well. He could make a trash bag look good.

  12. The music for the trailer is awesome! It's Nine Inch Nails!

  13. There's a commercial with a blond lady talking outside, wearing a yellow cardigan and this stone bead ribbon necklace. I think it's for Vehix?

I've noticed jcrew on "...Old Christine," too! :)

  14. If anyone watched True Blood on HBO, I happened to notice that Sookie Stackhouse wore an Alexa yellow sundress at the end of last season while she was digging in the graveyard. I happen to own the same dress and am very happy to know that it's appropriate in any situation :-)

  16. I spotted one of the quilted JCrew bags from Fall or Winter being carried by one of the charcaters of the new Showtime series called United States of Tara. I love having JCrew sightings.

As for Christian - why does he have to be so bad, but look so good?

  17. Too good of a combo this is.

  18. tastymoog -- You're right. I've seen that commercial and her outfit is so cute. I'll bet the stylist was patting him/herself on the back all day long about that necklace.

I love Christian Bale. And he is making that jacket look like...nevermind. He's just fine!

  19. On last Thursday's Private Practice, Kate Walsh was wearing the blue flower enamel earrings! I am wearing mine today! :-)

  20. I loved reading all the comments, from the various sightings of J.Crew and the comments about Bale.

Anon at 7:51 AM: Your comment made me laugh out loud!!! Well done! ;)

  21. The New Adventures of Old Christine. Tonight they even named J.Crew. Christine was going to go drum up some clients for the gym and mentioned, among several places, that she was going to go to J.Crew to look for women.

I couldn't spot any J.Crew pieces in the show tonight, but the mention was great!

  22. Ugh. Does anyone else think Christian Bale is a bad actor? Love the jacket, but put it on someone better please!!!

  23. Haven't seen this jacket before. Guessing it's from an upcoming collection.

@Anon 7:51AM - Probably that and having to wear a leather jacket while filming action scenes in the Arizona heat!

  24. That is NOT a J. Crew jacket on Cristian Bale in Terminator Salvation. The person who wrote that has no idea what they are talking about. The B3 bomber jackets for Bale and his Stunt doubles were supplied by Alpha Industries.
