Darlings, is it time for a J.Crew coupon code?

Yes, it is that wonderful time!

A big "thanks!" to GoldCoastGal (in this post), who let us know that J.Crew is offering free shipping on orders of $150+ with promo code M82HS. This offer expires 3/19/09. :)

P.S. This is more for an "Off On A Tangent Post"... "thanks!" to Christen who let us know that Ralph Lauren is offering free shipping with code RLWARM589384. This offer expires 3/31/09.

I ADORE that dress!! I have been waiting for it to go on sale, though. Please post a review if you end up purchasing!! I have fit issues with a lot of JC dresses that are not A-line. Basically they make their sheaths really high-waisted with not enough room in the bum for me. :-(

I'll report back if I pull the trigger. Really I'm seeing the free shipping as an opportunity to try it on. The price is a bit high but maybe it will go on sale in the future if so then I'll know if it is a go or not.

  4. I just received this dress. Fit is very similar to the double cloth version. Though I think the Paisley is cut a wee closer through the arms and bust. Not a lot, just a little. Skirt is not straight--it has a little flare so its forgiving through the hip and thigh. I think its running TTS. I could not have sized down in this one.

The fabric is more metallic than it appears on the website. The background is a bright cooper metallic. That took me by surprise. I thought it was going to be more brown and muted.

  6. $150.00 how many of these codes do we have floating around now? Big friggin deal. There is not enough to order for those high amounts, $100.00 or less maybe. Shows how lame their Spring 2009 collection is this year!

  9. Thank you for posting the code GoldCoastGal and Alexis.

I hope there are some wonderful new releases soon and I can take advantage of this offer. I placed a large order with the 20% off last week so there is nothing else I want just now.

  10. I have not seen a blog review on the Edie double-cloth. I bought one and I think it fits TTS. I have had problems with the shoulders of some JC regular sized dresses being too wide, but this was not a problem with this dress. Skirt has a slight a-line shape that is forgiving for those with hips, thighs and tushies.

Fabric is very nice. Quite substanial and polished. Definately suitable for the office.
