Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  2. No shopping for me. I was able to order everything I wanted (and some things I didn’t know I wanted) on Monday and Tuesday with the SHOPFIRST promo.

    2. And just like that all the CDN JCrew shoppers go elsewhere and spend their money with business who actually value and appreciate them. See ya JCruel ...

  6. i do have returns to do but i'll wait for some other stuff to be delivered before heading over to the mall. i bought some sale jeans (2 sizes)... one is too small but the other fit perfect except for the twisted leg seam. i've ordered too much stuff anyway so it's for the better. but i'm also going to seriously restrict my spending in the new year... jcrew is letting me down way too much lately.

  7. I received the collection ruffle silk top and a Drake pj top popback. The ruffle top has very unfortunately placed ruffles at my shoulders and arms which are the widest part of my top half. I look like a linebacker in silk. The Drake popback was unsurprisingly too big since I ordered a 10 when I’m usually a 4. It looks kind of cool as a silk bed jacket type top if I wear a camisole or T-shirt underneath but that’s not really my style. Also the sleeves are still comically wide.
Unrelatedly JC also sent me this year’s surprise thank you gift. I’ve been shopping JC for 20 years and this is the first time I’ve received one even though I didn’t spend more this year than previous years and I’m not a cardholder. Very nice but I wonder how I got on the good list this year.

    3. I saw that Drakes top too Eeps. If it was an 8 I would have tried, but figured 10 would be way too much. Thanks for the info on the collection blouse, I was afraid it wouldn't work on my wide shoulders, and you've confirmed.

I got the card set too.

    2. I went up a size on that one when I grabbed it on pop back myself;)

    3. I was just thinking that I’d totally keep it if it were just one size big. I can tell the shoulders would be too tight in my usual top size

  9. We’re away on a family trip for Thanksgiving and I always like to write about what items work for travel.
Trenton mesh sneakers: I brought two pairs and have worn them for the beach and muddy excursions. They are so comfortable and easy to walk in. Durability is a downside but I think I even got a backup pair.
White Supergas. So comfortable for walking. Look cute with shorts.
Cap toe espadrilles. Comfortable for minimal walking. 7 miles was too much.
Bathing suits I stocked up on for me and my girls have been great.
I’m not a dress person so I don’t love a lot of the coverups but repurposed my barely worn Endless shirt in white and it works perfectly (would have been even better if I sized up). . I also have a madewell tunic I use for this purpose.
High waisted leopard print trousers shorts looked very cute for an early dinner with a white poplin button down (that boxy cropped one which may still be available).
Of course I’ve worn other pieces but these basics have stood out.

    1. Good report, glad you're all having fun & enjoying the warmth. Today I'm wearing a cashmere pullover & a turtleneck with jeans and fair isle socks, decorating the tree and listening to the sleet come down.

    2. I know. I’m not looking forward to the cold although I love being home and miss my usual routine.

    3. It’s the Tretorn net mesh sneakers, not Trenton. (Autocorrect).
We just did carryon so I filled my suitcase and have a few things I could have done without but not too much.

  11. Some things are cyber Monday "specials" so they won't take the extra percent off those (reduced) prices. humph. Some things I was eyeing yesterday (sale price) are NOW final sale, what the heck. No thanks.
