Has anyone heard any rumblings about the annual sample sale in NY usually held in the beginning of Dec? Used to love going for unique (although not that discounted) party looks for the holidays. Wondering with all the org change if it's still going to happen.

DeleteHas anyone seen or gotten to try on the Collection Cherry Blossom Pencil Skirt (AF950) or Top (AE863)? I'm super curious about both of them, but no reviews so far and I am loathe to spend rewards dollars on them without any idea on sizing. Also hoping they might be part of a promo closer to Black Friday.

ReplyDeleteOrdered the the collection silk tie neck blouse in spearmint and the wool flannel pleated skirt in heather lavender so I went to the store to pick them up. The blouse was super pretty but ultimately too fussy for my taste so I returned. Plus it was crumpled so it was hard to figure out what it would look like steamed or ironed. The wool skirt was a surprise yay! muted lavender, nice drape, not itchy, doesn't make me look hippy as pleated skirts normally. Keeping it for now.

Delete@shopgrrrl, if you need assistance on sizing, availability or whatever, call the Palm Beach store and ask for Cynda; she’s worked for Stubbs and Wootton for years and was a former Jcrew employee for years. She’s the best, extremely helpful and unpretentious. She loves retail sales, it’s her love and it shows. They will ship immediately and take returns willingly. Hope this helps.
