"Looking to VENT" with J.Crew

This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

    1. I asked J.Crew about the wish list a couple of days ago, they have no update whatsoever. They recommended checking my inbox for future updates. Helpful.

    2. I'm in Canada and I still have my wishlist. If you change the shipping destination to Canada, will it enable the wishlist?

      I've noticed that the visual order history (showing the past orders with a small picture of each item) has disappeared for me when I log in and set the shipping address as Canada, but it reappears when I change the shipping address to the US. Maybe the wish list functionality will work the same way?

  2. I called them about the wishlist and she told me that it was taking time because they wanted to make sure it was working really well for the holiday season. I told them they'd missed the boat on that because the holiday season was already here. It makes me wonder if they have no intention of bringing it back.

  3. Very disappointed that there will be no catalog (Style Guide) for the holidays. I've been shopping my closet lately and am thankful that I bought a lot of stuff back in the day. Looked through some 2008 catalogs last night and it just made me sad.

  4. Annoyed that I ordered 2 new skirts from the new rollout Monday and they are both backordered. Also missing the wishlist, it was a good way to keep track of things.

    1. I wanted to order also 2 skirts and held off because of this.... I don’t want to pay full price even with coupon with Black Friday around the corner.... and items not being able to ship until after Black Friday...

    2. that is a really good point. One of them is supposed to ship Nov 16 but the other not until mid-December. Now I'll be doing my usual price stalk and re-order/return game if the price drops significantly. :|

  5. Anyone notice that some of the crewcuts items that were released on Monday are now mysteriously missing? I went to order the candy cane leggings for my daughter and they are no longer listed.
