In your opinion, what are the 1-2 items that JC consistently gets right and you can always trust them to have the perfect one for you?
ReplyDeleteFor me, it’s blazers and outerwear. Every time I wear a JC blazer I feel polished and everyone compliments it. With outerwear, the quality is always there and the look is classic.
I’d agree @eeps, blazers and outerwear. I almost said skirts for me as I have many I love but there’s been many misses. All of my winter coats are currently jcrew and I have quite a few lol.
DeleteI wear Maddie pants to work 2-3 days/week. I haven’t tried any other work styles, but I’d be pretty hopeful that J.Crew would have something for me based on how great the Maddies are. I also think their pencil skirts are something that I can always count on to look and fit great, even though I now buy them on eBay and PM, not from J.Crew directly.
DeleteThere's a trend here. I say wool blazers, wool coats, wool skirts and mens suits and trousers. The quality is there, the styles work year after year. Gives me a reason to look forward to going off to work in the winter. I just bought a 2011 Hacking jacket on Ebay.
DeleteI agree with the wool coats and various blazers. I’ve gotten rid of quite a few over the years—beautiful velvet blazers that ended up being too short or tight in the shoulders, and coats I didn’t reach for—but the ones I’ve kept, especially the coats, do get worn. I def wear blazers much less these days but I’m happy to have them any time we have an event.
DeleteI love the coats and am really loving the selection of beautiful colors shown this go 'round. Haven't seen this much color in a while. I enjoy looking at the blazers but I don't have enough places to wear them so I dont buy them enough to compare. Also, they used to do wool pants very well
DeleteMerino wool sweaters! I have cardigans from 2008 that are still going strong. Wore the links print cardigan last week and got lots of compliments. Love my Eden cardigans and wish J Crew would revive this style! Just ordered the brown/pink cheetah print Tippi. Hope it is a keeper!
DeleteI haven't shopped J Crew in years. I went online and found many items that reminded me of the old J Crew from years ago. lots of great staple items as well as cute tops. Can't wait to get my order.
