  1. Happy Thursday, JCAs! have another treat for you. I am sharing more J.Crew of Yesteryear on my blog today...this time it's the "J.Crew Goes to Prague" video from way back in 2008.
I'm sure that many of you will remember watching it when it first debuted...those were such glory days for J.Crew. Click here to watch.

    2. ST & fleur de lys: You're welcome! It really was such a great video. I am not sure why J.Crew marked it as Fall 2010 because it was definitely 2008 when they went to Prague and made the video. Apparently they don't even remember what year it was. Haha.

  2. Anyone have any feelings about the Everyday wool suiting pieces? I found a jacket in my size and in my price range but the reviews indicate that it is a poly-wool blend something, something...that must have been when JC "updated" the product details!! I also found the snakeskin high heel boots in my size, the only size (Yahoo!) Sadly, i'm not sure that I really will find them in enough rotation cute (real cute) or not.

    1. No experience with the suiting but yahoo for the boots!!!! I am so glad I met mine. I’m planning on long skirts and dresses...just have to find the dresses for cheaper prices than Zimmerman.

  3. Went in today for try ons. had my eye on the cheetah boatneck top but didn’t love the colors in person. The sizing was off for me - my arms fit the S but my body fit the XS. Also tried the Parke blazer in English wool - gorgeous but running huge. I typically take a 4 in Parke blazers and expected to need a 6 to accommodate layering. I was persuaded to try a 2 and it fit - probably had a little room too. Saw the new Liberty puffer jacket in person - it is much nicer than model photos. I like it better than last years puffer; this one has details, piping, shape of an actual jacket instead of a collarless blanket/straitjacket.

  4. I just wanted to chime in with love for the Buttoned Corduroy Skirt in Pink. The fit is flattering and the color is fun and it coordinated with a lot more than I thought, especially since I don't wear much pink. Anyway, wore this skirt to work and it was great, a bit long for me, but still very happy with this purchase. I haven't liked or purchased much from J crew lately, so happy to find something.

  5. I snagged a collection leather moto jacket in the sale section yesterday AM for $160 and it’s already shipped! Must be a slow business period for JC 😂
