  1. Anyone have comments about the wool culottes (L0725)? I see 6 reviews but I wanted to check with the JCA experts ;^)

    1. I have not tried them but have been tempted several times, however they look like they’re cut the same as the wool pants with tux stripe that I tried at $100 and wouldn’t even buy during those crazy super sales last winter. The cut did nothing for me at all.
They’re a nice lightweight wool and they can easily be dressed up or down. I’d love them with a chunky sweater and tall boots, a la Victoria Beckham.

    3. Thank you ladies! Ina, I always love checking out your IG pix and @Suz Has, one day, I am going to get those yoga poses down. My size in the culottes is gone but maybe the next go 'round.

    4. You never know, they can pop back and they were at a great price when sale was on sale. I hope they work for you.

  2. I love and wear my Collection Leather Ryder pants so much and have been so disappointed with recent offerings I decided to try to find a second pair of leather pants. I ended up ordering a pair of Rag and Bone trouser cut (similar to Ryder but higher rise and back trouser pockets) for a fair price (considering the $1100 original price tag). The leather is a little thicker than the crew ones and the fit is perfect. I considered selling the Ryders but as my friend Cheritheberry said since I love them as well it makes sense to keep both. I’ll continue to wear the Ryder’s more casually and for travel.
I feel like I don’t need a single other pair of black pants but they’re my holy grail...

Also Madewell has 40 percent off end of season stuff. Final sale but a few good deals. I ordered another skinny silk scarf in the star print since I can’t find the one I bought my daughter and a pair of seamed BF jeans that I hope fit.

    1. Hope the leather pants work out great for you!

My childhood hero was Diana Rigg as Emma Peale in the Avengers. She wore black leather and crushed bad-guys. What are you wearing for Haloween?

    2. Depends if we have a party to attend or not. If we do there will be a theme.

    3. So glad you like them! And I love this! Because really, who sells leather pants that fit perfectly and get a ton of wear?
Thanks for the heads up about Madewell. I scored a striped tee I had admired earlier in the season for only $5.09.
