Take an Extra 40% Off Sale at Madewell

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know the following news from this morning.

Madewell is offering customers to take an extra 40% off sale items with promo code EXTRA40.  The offer expires April 27, 2015. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on the purchase of sale items in Madewell stores and at madewell.com from April 23, 2015, 12:01am ET through April 27, 2015, 11:59pm ET. Discount valid online on sale items marked "40% off with code EXTRA40." Offer not valid on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. In-store discount automatically taken at the register. To redeem online, enter code EXTRA40 in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. only. Terms of offer are subject to change. Final sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.
This promotion is being offered at both B&M stores and online. (B&M stores were running an additional 30% off. So I appreciate the bump in discount. Yey!)

    I took a chance on a silk blouse that's been sitting on my wishlist for a while. Final sale, but with the extra 40% off I'll risk it.

    I ordered the Medina clutch-I'd been waiting for an extra % off to get it :) Excited about it because I love the Medina transport tote from last summer.

    I reordered the Aboard dress in true black and gravel in size 6. I had previously ordered it in 4 but plan to send the size 4's back because they are a little snug a little shorter than I'd like. I'm 5'10 and it hits couple of inches above my knee, wish is was a little longer but it has enough extra fabric that I can have the hem let out an inch.

    This actually irritates me because I JUST placed an order during the last promo, now everything is on sale + the extra 40%. Blah, sick of pricing games.

    I actually ordered two shirts from Nordstrom, but saw the promo and got the same shirt in two different colors and saved way more. I love free shipping and return shipping for Nordstrom! Plus, the Madewell package just came today from the Westport store! It didn't even take a day :)
