Even though some of the quality of items and styles have seemed to be on the decline, one thing that hasn't wavered (in my opinion) is J.Crew's customer service. I recently purchased the Abbott sandals in gold. They came yesterday and were too big. I went to the store and they gave me input on the size I should order, called in the new size for me, matched the price on the discount I purchased with, waived the shipping on the new item, and took the large size back. I'm not 100% sure I'll be happy with the smaller size since the straps seemed out of proportion to the bottom, but we shall see. I'm glad they took them back and waived the new shipping fee to find out!
ReplyDeleteI agree@shawful, JC customer service has been stellar for me.
ReplyDeleteI am currently working through a "dressing-room-in-a-box" delivery and will post reviews soon. I don't live near a store, so everyone's online reviews really help me out. So, MUCH LOVE TO JCAs for your reviews!!!! Want to share too. It'll mostly be pants. I have the problem of thinking there must be SOME style of JC pant that will fit me and, alas, nothing is ever 100%. I think once a year I order a slew of different pant style "just to see." None are perfect but a few in this shipment are under consideration... Stay tuned.
I am loving that I have been able to get two skirts on ebay from seasons past. The collection Mai Tai Floral, that I could never afford from J.Crew and a size bigger, :(, in the pistache floral pencil skirt from several years ago still NWT. I loved that skirt but mine has shrunk...LOL Glad to get a bigger size. I guess I don't love J.Crew, I love ebay!
ReplyDeleteThe cinched swing jacket is awesome! It is on sale right now too. It is very swing-y as the name says so you would want to size down if you want a more snug fit, maybe even two sizes. But I personally wanted a loose spring jacket. It has many small details that give it a special feeling (unlike the short trench which I did not like). It has several cords for tightening, gross grain lining along the buttons, a hood as you can see. I like it a lot.
