Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?
This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SUMMER & FALL sale, or to see some new FALL arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

J.Crew Updates Website with New Arrivals!
"Thanks!" to many of you, including Gem Twin & DinaGideon (in this post), and Jackie (in this post), as well as Irina & Marietta, who let us know that J.Crew had an update to its website today (click here to view online).
There are some new arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). {wahoo!} Of course, Crewcuts and the J.Crew Collection (click here) got updated too (click here).
What items are you most excited about and why? Which items are you surprised (or not surprised) to see? Which items did you hope would be included? Were you expecting a bigger roll-out today? Also, did you receive the latest catalog? :)J.Crew Spotted in People Magazine
![]() | ![]() |
The page on the left features Elin wearing a J.Crew tank top. Unfortunately, it is hard to tell from the way she is posing which one it is.
The page on the right features Brittany Spears sporting the Bettina Cami (Item 28505; $79.50, now $49.99). I have to say, she looks pretty darn good with it!
What are your thoughts on the items featured? Do you own or tried on the Bettina Cami? If so, please share! :)
J.Crew + Net A Porter {check it out!}
"Thanks!" to Gem Twin (in this post) who reminded us that J.Crew is selling items exclusively for Net-a-Porter customers. Click here to shop!
For example, the Pezza Wool-Crepe Jacket (100523; $258.00) & the Luna Mixy Silk and Wool Dress (10050; $275.00) are available only through Net-a-Porter right now.
Some of these items *are* available at J.Crew's brick and mortar (B&M) stores. However, I am not sure if all the Net-a-Porter items will ever be available on J.Crew's regular e-commerce site. Who knows?
In any case, I should check out Net-a-Porter to see what "new" J.Crew items are for sale!
What are your thoughts on Net-a-Porter's partnership with J.Crew? Have you purchased J.Crew through Net-a-Porter?

Will you be taking advantage of this promotion today? Are there any sale items you are interested in getting?
J.Crew Spotted in Vogue Magazine
![]() | ![]() |
The page on the left features the Jackie Shell (Item 29349; $42.00) under the Jackie Cardigan (Item 29350; $62.00). This combination is classic styling— simply at its best. Love it.
The page on the right shows off J.Crew's Jenna Cardigan (Item 24712; $70.00) in "Paradise Blue". But here is the best part... the cardigan is worn backwards! It looks absolutely lovely in the image, but that styling technique won't work for real-life. (I am having flashbacks of Criss-Cross, jump!)
Vogue really loves this cardigan because they featured it before (refer to the July 21st "J.Crew Spotted in Vogue" post). My feelings on it are the same: I love the rich colors being offered, but not a fan of the cropped cardigan in general.
What are your thoughts on the cardigans featured? Do you own these Jenna Cardigans? If so, please share! :)
Questionable Item of the Week: Cashmere Tank {you want how much?}
Cashmere TankClick here for product page
Item 30380
Regular $298.00
"Thanks!" to Dina who suggested this tee for a "Questionable Item of the Week" post because of the price.
J.Crew describes this top as the following:
With raw-edged trim at the neck and a shirttail hem, our superluxe Italian cashmere jersey tank looks equally brilliant over jeans or tucked into a statement skirt. Part of the J.Crew Collection. Import. Dry clean..When I glanced over the Collection section of J.Crew's online site, I did not even notice this top. It looks like your every day tank top. But now, upon closer look...
This "cashmere jersey tank" is a little too see-through for my liking. I mean, you would definitely have to wear something (like a $10 tank top) underneath it. It is also a bit odd looking (in terms of fit) from the catalog images. It looks tight on top but loose around the stomach. Meh.
As for the price... yikes! I understand that cashmere costs a lot because it is cashmere. However, that price for that top (extremely thin & just a tank— no sleeves!) seems really outrageous to me. I mean, it costs more than J.Crew's Cashmere Popover Hoodie (Item 29627; $198.00) and that sweater uses additional cashmere for the hood & kangaroo pockets!
Do you think I am being overly-critical? What are your thoughts on this Cashmere Tank? Would you buy this or leave it at the store? Have you see this first hand, and if so, what are your impressions?
