Hey everyone! 2 things I wanted to note here of brands that are new to me and items I’m loving.
ReplyDeleteI was tired of the cheap graphic tees from the crew so I checked out Clare V. Lovely tees! I sized up because I don’t like tight tees but that was the wrong call. My normal size is perfectly oversized.
There has been a lot of talk here about sportier sandals. I just received Sorel’s Ella II sandals and they are amazing! Love the slightly sportier feel, the rubber bottom for long walks, and the comfy elastic that feels snug but not tight. Highly recommend this sandal. I have the white but it’s more of a canvas color but the sandal can be found at so many retailers and in lots of different colors.
Oh! Thanks for the sandal review! I will check. I actually ordered a pair of Sorel sport boots (sort of cross between boot and sneaker) with the wavy sole but they ran really huge on me.
DeleteYesterday I ordered two different styles from
Nordstrom. A Steve Madden Marco ankle strap platform and a CC CORSO como Lana Platform criss cross strap puffy looking sandal. I don’t love the Steve Madden brand necessarily but the style could be cute with my usual basics that I’ve been wearing nonstop.
Going to check the Sorel sandals too!
Liz, Thank you for the sandal review. I checked out Sorel. They look comfortable and trendy. Will try their walking sandal.
DeleteReporting back on the Steve Madden Marco ankle strap platform. I ordered both the black and cognac. Cognac has not yet shipped but I have to say I like the black a lot. Fit is TTS and the look is sporty but they’re not as chunky looking on my foot as the everlane. They are more flattering with shorts and skirts. I don’t like to wear heeled sandals with shorts and skirts because with my style I feel they look a little trashy (shorter skirts and shorts) but these are flatforms and work nicely. They are not so casual that I’d wear them the way I wear my Gretchen colorblock or would wear a sport sandal but I think that’s ok.
ReplyDeleteThey don’t feel cheap. The leather is soft—it says leather so I’m going by that—and the way the ankle strap wraps around it doesn’t gap.
Currently on sale on Nordstrom.
