Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. I ordered a few 50% off sale items this morning, I don't think I'll make it to the store. There were some new markdowns, picked up a pair of 10" rise white skinny jeans since I'm between sizes right now and the pair I have are a smidge too tight, the safari colored swingy tank dress AX047 and the smocked cotton poplin dress in rose vines AY866. The poplin dress wasn't showing up on sale when I added to cart so I called CS and they adjusted the price for me. Happy weekend JCAs!

  2. I posted about my store visit yesterday. Still eyeing a few things but I have orders from Everlane, lululemon (high waisted running shorts with a liner I thought would work well for outdoor activities) and gap (bras).
Gap order should be here today, other stuff next week so I’m patiently waiting to see if crew goes lower.
My Steve Madden Marco sandals from Nordstrom were marked down an additional $20 and I managed to get one color a half size up (should be fine). I do like both colors but may return the cognac.

    1. chiming in on the gap bra thing: I recently got a couple of the gap body "lace plunge bralette" and they are really nice and lightweight, very comfy, I was pleasantly surprised. I'm a 36A and refuse any underwires which takes out a big chunk of what's available. It seems like all bras made for A/B cup have a ton of padding, etc so it was nice to find a thin, light bra that still has decent support.

    2. I was just coming to report back! I got the Breathe Wireless bra (36AA) in Black and Tan and the multi-way tshirt bra in black (36A). I think I’m prob between a 34/36 but my old 34 bands are killing me so I opted for 36.
At first I felt like the breathe wireless might be too small but it looks nice under a fitted tank and feels comfortable. They def don’t have much padding which I’m not used to.
The only one i didn’t love was the everyday smooth Multiway bra, i felt like it pushed everything to the middle.
I’m glad I order last week as they are a lot more expensive today.

    3. Glad to have some new wireless recommendations. I'm a 32C and have been wearing a Calvin Klein wireless style for years. Nordstrom stopped carrying it last year and I found it at Bloomingdales, but I've been afraid the style would disappear at some point. I had a salesperson once indignantly demand to know why I hate underwire. "They are a form of torture to me because I have a lot of cysts," I told her. The TMI shut her up. That'll teach her to ask nosy questions.

    4. I am a fan of CK wireless bras too. I used to buy them from the outlet mall but they have been discontinued.

    5. MaryG good for you. I once went to a renowned lingerie shop and the fitter told me I didn’t have enough volume and that I should be a C. She sold me a bra with cups that were half empty. Sure it looked great in clothes but it would indent if someone came too close. I think that scarred me for life.
It’s like the makeup artist at georgette klinger in NYC, who after my mom had a facial right before my wedding asked her if she was getting her eyes done for the event.
People who make us feel bad about ourselves suck. I’m hard enough on myself as it is.

  3. I placed an online order today after seeing more of my espadrille favs marked down with some colors not on final sale, and my b/friend jeans FINALLY marked down 50% w/o final sale (yeah!). Although I have my own walking personal summers ;>) , I also decided to order a tie dye S/S cashmere T-shirt. I keep checking for 50% non-final sale so my orders may increase through the weekend (pockets not happy!)

    2. thanks for pointing out the 50% non FS thing. I was checking last night and newly added to sale things (short sleeve cashmere tees, linen seaside pant) were half off and not FS. This morning they ARE final sale. So it's better to order before they quickly flip to final sale.

  4. My Everlane retro jersey shorts and barrel pants arrived. @kikigirl I’m curious how you like them.
I ordered XS in the shorts and S in the pants.
I really like both but may try the size S In the shorts—with my long torso and the cut, the length is really really short, almost butt baring, and maybe the size up would be better. But the fit is perfect. The size S in the pants feels a bit loose. I really did not want to love them because I have my vintage cotton sweats (and plenty of “knock around” pants but these definitely have a neater look.

    1. Adding that I have an everlane raglan sleeve sweatshirt I got on sale and with the pants it happens to look very smart for loungewear. I may order the other sizes to see.

  5. Yay! So glad you love the barrel pants. I
Love the white ones. I’m waiting for the black to arrive.

    1. I just ordered the shorts in small to see if they’re less revealing and the pants in XS. The rest of my big order will be here Monday. The shape of these pants looks similar to the barrel fatigue pants but I have no idea how the sizing will run. We shall see.

  6. Kate, did you get the seersucker pants? Curious if anyone’s tried any of the magic rinse pants too?

    1. Sorry for delay. Was drowning in continuing Ed classes this weekend d

SURPRISE LOVE. TTS. Love fabric. Full length good with flats or wedges. No crotch. They are funky but work from home will work. Very comfy!
May get blue when they go on sale more

  7. Stopped in to make a couple of returns. I've wanted to try the new cashmere lounge wear and my store had 2 of the options (gray and heather stone). One of the male SA's was wearing the gray collared v neck sweater with a white tee underneath, so I decided to try. I picked up the gray sweater and relaxed pull on shorts. Fit is tts in both. Cashmere is soft and it's a good option for cozy lounge wear. Also matches gray cashmere joggers that I wear as loungewear too, so lots of options.

  8. My name is Thomas White, from United states, i have been Herpes positive and it is just like been through hell; well special thanks to God almighty for using Dr Twaha, the greatest Herbal doctor in curing my herpes disease. I was diagnosed of this disease in the year 2004. Although I was taking my medications I was not myself. Until a few weeks ago. My friend came to me and told me that he saw many testimonies on how Dr. Twaha  cured people Herpes disease. Although I never believe in herbs, I said to myself "seeing is believing" I took his name and searched it on GOOGLE, I saw many testimonies myself. Quickly, I copied his email: drlregbeyen10000@gmail.com I emailed him, he gave me a form to fill which I did, then he sent me a message  and told me that he required some items in which he will use in preparing the cure for me and he told me that it will cost me some money which i sent to him because I need the cure urgent,  He bought the items and prepared a cure for me, then he sent the parcel to me through courier delivery service. I paid the courier services, I got my parcel, it was a bottle of ointment as described by Dr,Twaha After taking the ointment he told me to do, the herpes test and the result came out negative. Quickly I messaged him and told him what happened he congratulated me. I promised to tell the world about him. You can contact him with any problem  via email: ( drlregbeyen10000@gmail.com ) or contact him on WhatsApp +2349038518881 thank you Dr Twaha
