DeleteI think I’m going to pull the trigger on the gray chateau. It’s been on my wishlist for years and I think it’s time. I tend to buy coats in bright colors and as of late I’m craving neutrals. I could probably get a little bit more off by waiting for a better promo but I’m ready to buy and wear now. I also purchased the downtown field jacket. 2 jcrew classics that are finally added to my closet. Can’t wait for new arrivals tomorrow! Thanks to Lynn for keeping us all informed :)
ReplyDeleteHas anyone tried Faherty brand? They seem a little pricey but there's some cute stuff I might want to try out... Of course, I'm waiting for Jcrew new arrivals before I pull the trigger on anything.
ReplyDeleteFunny you should mention that, I get their targeted ads on IG a lot and I’m intrigued...but i have also heard stories of bad internet scams and terrible returns, shipping experiences etc so I am scared to pull the trigger.
DeleteThey have physical stores and they actually have one in my mall (which I didn't know until today) so that gives me some confidence in at least being able to return.

DeleteI received my silk giraffe pants and matching top. They are pretty but I hope I can properly care for them. This is my first silk bottom and top. How do some of you care for these items? They are dry clean only. Do you regularly dry clean them? Is hand washing okay? I’m scared to use any laundress products on them.
ReplyDelete@DD, suggest going to the laundress.com where you will find help for cleaning these items and many more. Depending how frequently I wear a silk blouse and know that it’s clean, I will simply spray it with fabric fresh from The Laundress. I send my silk items to have them dry cleaned. I do have a good steamer to you use but I don’t want to ruin something by washing silk. I did so years ago and that was it. My housekeeper refuses to wash it too😂 Call us both lazy and afraid!
DeleteDD, I own a lot of of those silk pants, and I handwash using delicates soap. I've had the Laundress delicates soap, and currently use Tocca's. In a pinch, you can also use Woolite. I'd suggest limiting how many times you wash it if you want to maintain the colors.
DeleteThanks. I have the laundress soap and spray. I will probably use the spray to keep them fresh between washings or dry cleanings. I hate to risk hand washing but I don’t like to get things dry cleaned that often.

DeleteI thought this was going to be some kind of pre-holiday VIP launch, but instead it's just a handful of items that are a little more discounted? One item in my cart changed to 17% off with the code. Really odd.
