Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. The extra ten percent off sale surprised me this morning. I only ordered the zip up indigo seaside pants, low risk, easy comfy warm weather pants which is what I’ve been living in.

I love the Palm Print and would get the tie shoulder top if I knew the kick crop pants would be flattering. That cut is so tricky and with no model pics even though they’re reasonable I don’t want to risk it,

With the extra percentage off I should look at new stuff but my head isn’t there yet.

    1. @Suz Has, I recently received the palm print tie shoulder top and really like it! I took a chance on size, I’m normally xs but bought xxs because I was worried it would be too low cut or boxy. That was the right call for me but I’m small chested 34B. It drapes nicely and the print is really pretty in person.

    2. Jan, I’m small on top too but muscular and long torso. I think I’d be better off with it looser. I’m not a huge print person but I love the colors.

    3. The colours are great, the gold birds add a nice touch. I’m long torso too and wish it was a tad longer in the xxs but am happy with it. I also ordered the linen white one haven’t tried it on yet but noticed it’s a little slimmer cut than the palm print at least for the one I got.

  2. Anybody have the chambray striped coverup dress? Thoughts on sizing?

    1. I have it. It's generously cut in the body, so I would probably size down (I did). However I did feel like it was a little tight in the chest, so you may want to size it based on your bust

  3. Vancouver store closing Sept 26th :( I guess J.Crew is leaving Canada. 70% off entire store except for cashmere and merino sweaters. Menswear on the second floor. The promotions for Canadians online is really disappointing (almost non-existent) and the most you will get is 30% off when there is a promotion. I get a feeling, J.Crew is moving out of the international market...

    1. Forgot to mention that i visited the Vancouver store 3 days in a row and they had added new stuff on the floor each day. Sales girl mentioned they are still getting stuff and will put stuff out for the sale...worth a visit even you didn't find anything the previous time.

    2. wow. i was there on the weekend and was told store was not closing.
i had a feeling by the look of things they were liquidating,
i wish the sales people would have told me,
i left empty handed . if i had known new items would be put out everyday..i would have gone back like you did.
this is bad news for us...i will miss having a store here in Vancouver

    3. They told me the same thing on the weekend, the store is not closing but if you look carefully at the sign over the cashmere table and the jeans table, it says something like the store is closing Sept 26 but they are still available 24/7 online at jcrew.com (the print is very small and I almost missed it). Maybe they all just found out today.

    4. I’m so sorry that another store is closing. I have placed a few curbside orders to try to help my store and hope everyday that they can survive.

    5. This is so upsetting to hear! Is Yorkdale closing or are they leaving us with one store at least?

    6. I heard that Yorkdale is also doing 70% off everything - sounds like they will be closing too, though I have no confirmation. Interesting that the Vancouver and the Bloor store are closing the same day. Planning on going back to the Bloor store tomorrow to see if there’s anything I might want, if I feel ambitious I’ll zip up to Yorkdale. I agree that JCrew is leaving Canada.
