  1. No discount on sale! I don’t think I seen anything like this for a while. Not that I need anything! Lol

    1. I am surprised as well, and almost posted that yesterday in the "vent" section, but then I realized I'm better off! I'm actually going to send my Anthropologie return back by mail because I'll be saving money by paying for postage, rather than cruising the mall for more deals.

    2. I know, exactly. I feel like it’s like a cleanse or shopping detox. It’s a weird time that I don’t see anyone old on sale I must have, nor do I see anything new I’m wanting.

    3. I’m surprised that they’re not have an extra percent off sale as well. Of course an item that I was interested in came back into stock but with no discount it would be $50 more than what I paid for it a few weeks ago. So far I am staying strong and not pushing the order button

    4. They should match what you paid!

    1. Thanks for the heads up. I've been wanting to order the dusty orchid pjs, and they're finally included in the promo. Good excuse to use my bday rewards.

  3. Has anyone ordered the blazer coat in Italian cashmere? I’m trying to see. If it runs big. Also how does it fit? The styling pictures are not the greatest.

    1. I ordered a couple. Electric red and navy in my regular size. Haven’t received yet but will post. I’m not expecting much but for the price I will donate them to a charity if I don’t like them.

  4. OT: anyone read Chris Benz’ IG post about starting an interior design/home renovation business?

Really OT: I’ve been thinking about platform chelsea boots and hadn’t found exactly what I wanted, but I did find a pair of Stella McCartney flatform/platform sneaker/oxfords I’ve loved since I first saw them years ago. I have no idea if I will love them IRL but I’m super excited to try. I think they will work with most pant silhouettes I usually wear. They were a splurge but if I love them it will be worth it.

    1. Are those the Elyse Black with the white sole? I saw them on someone in Italy and they looked really nice on her feet. Whatever you try good luck and hope you like them.

    2. Similar but stars on them and a black and white sole. I’ve been looking at someone I follow wearing them in a different color and had to try.

  5. J Crew cashmere isn't on sale, but Eileen Fisher has lots of cashmere on sale at 75% - 80% off, plus an addiitonal $ amount off if you spend at least $250 ($50 off) and $500 ($100 off). I ordered a cashmere funnel tunic, hoooded cashmere cardigan, cashmere mockneck top and merino wool pants. Sweaters ($99) and pants ($69) before additional discount. EF cashmere is high quality and usually retails for $400 to $500, so may be worth a look. Nothing is final sale, so you can buy worry-free. I'm a fan of EF and these pieces should be cozy options for cooler temps. Also, if you sign up for the birthday program, you get a $50 coupon that is good for $50 off a $100 purchase. Can be applied to sale items.

  6. The code is "FAll". It's on the home page under "Sustainable Fashion." I search sale using the fabric filter. "Search, clothing, click filter, search by fabric and select cashmere" or whatever you like. Here's the link for cashmere sale.

    3. Thanks so much. For everyone else out there there is going to be a big price drop around Tuesday. There is so much inventory and other fairly new items that simply aren’t moving in certain parts of the country, thus more markdowns and final sales. These price drops are done according to geographical locations and stores t hat have low inventories and higher inventories have started a little earlier. I am compiling a list for my very store and sending a list to them. If you have an excellent relationship with your local stores contact them or go in. Unfortunately, I’m still out of the country and I would love to go in. The following week is the next launch with winter items. Thanks again Dana.

    4. Lynn will this be online too or solely in stores?

    5. Zach and Mere, I’m not sure about online but definitely the stores that haven’t done so already. I have feeling prices will drop online as well. I also spoke with my VPS the other day about a little dress I purchased recently at 50% but returned it. She felt the price would go down soon so it was sent back and I will reorder. She said she’d match the lowest price I paid if it didn’t. I will post if I find any additional information. Hope this helps a little

    6. Definitely does! I’ve been hanging onto my extra 15% code that expires at the end of the month hoping for one big blowout sale online since I don’t have a B&M nearby anymore. Fingers crossed!

    7. @lynn thanks so much for that info I’ve lots on my wishlist & hope they will be included

  8. Anybody have the H9516 Sleeveless Cardigan (it’s a longer length like a duster)? Is it any good? I’ve had remorse from not buying it when it was released and saw one on EBay for a good price but am now reluctant to purchase since it’s nonreturnable...

    1. No, but hopefully you will get some answers from Jcrew which is where I would start. Do Jcrew include duty/tax when you purchase from them? Wish you luck. Hoping it was a simple error on on their part in your favor.

    2. Yes duties taxes always included. this is the first time this has happened to me. pkg was on hod at customs for a day or so ..or at least that is what tracking said, I will call tomorrow when ups opens...then will call JCrew...

    3. That is so weird, must be a mistake. As you mentioned duties are in the price we pay in Canada. I’m sure JCrew will sort it out for you. Good luck! Let us know what happens.
