If you have recently encountered items that are similar to J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including experiences with certain merchandise pieces, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  1. The new "Party of One" Tee & Tank dresses look incredibly adorable.

    2. Thanks for pointing those out, they are cute! I love the Cayenne colour and higher neckline. The fabric looks pretty substantial too.

    3. oh my goodness, I had pretty much that exact dress in black - the cap sleeve and empire waist and above the knee and wore it to my college graduation in 1996 :D! Mine was from The Limited. I remember it well. I wore it with some Pro-Ked sneakers was which the indie girl cute look at the time. :)

    1. I’m not much of a dress person, especially not shifts, although these do have some shape, but they do look very cute. The cap sleeve version is adorable. I wonder if they really CAN be dressed up? If you get one please report back.

    2. I don't plann on trying them imminently. You're our numero uno Everlane reviewer SuZ =)

    3. I don’t think I’ll be ordering a dress any time soon but I’ll keep checking the Everlane site for reviews. Empire waist line isn’t usually the best for me, although it’s nice that it has a little more structure than a tshirt dress.

  3. Speaking of everlane, I’ve been wearing my black tread sneakers on our neighborhood walks. They are honestly the most comfortable sneakers I’ve ever worn. So great for walking the hills and asphalt. I’m still contemplating the off white but trying to not buy them just because they’re on sale.

I’ve also worn all three of my day gloves and love them.

    1. Hmmm ... Comfortable sneakers are always needed. I am very loyal to Nike/Converse (and have scored great deals on their extra 20-30% off sales) but may try the Everlane treads once stores reopen.

    2. I haven’t tried Nike in forever and the vamp on regular converse bothers me a bit, so YMMV, but these are like nothing I’ve ever worn. I typically exercise barefoot but for outdoor walking and such they’re wonderful.

  4. Speaking of Everlane, anyone tried the Court Sneaker? I'm looking for a new all white leather sneaker for summer .

    1. I haven’t tried those but I did get the madewell sneakers that are all white. Mine have a gum sole with some glitter mixed in which some people hated but it doesn’t bother me. I only tried them on but they seemed pretty comfy. Haven’t worn them out yet.

  5. Alex Mill sent a discount code over Memorial Day so I tried these pants in asphalt. The linen is super thick. They seem to fit better a little low on my waist and end up looking like a super cool drop crotch ala Nili Lotan $$$$. In comparison to a pair of Joie linen cargo pants I got from rack last winter (still love them) the material is much more substantial. The look is not for everyone but I love it. My only “complaint” is that the wash is a little lighter than I expected but I think it can be versatile enough. I am not crazy about how they look on the models but rolled at the ankle they work well. They’re a good length. Not too cropped so they can be rolled.

For those following along I think these are more me than the pleated tie waist ones I ended up returning.

    1. I can see you in that, worn with a loose linen top for the total slouchy look, or a fitted tank.

    2. I already wore them today (but with a tshirt honoring my daughter) but with the red Everlane day gloves and loved them. My husband noticed right away and complimented. They’re great warm weather pants, but honestly thick enough to wear year round.

  6. Talbots is now selling Ratti print items. Very pretty pastels.
