This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopping
by a J.Crew store this weekend to see
what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in
person, maybe you might be
willing to share that with us in this
post. In particular, if you could
share with us a few of the
noteworthy items that are available, at
what prices, and potential sizes
the store is carrying (as well
as the store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also,
please let us know if your local store is
carrying an additional percent
off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)
P.S.
I noticed that many of
you have already been reporting sale
items (and in which stores) in
other posts which by the way "thank
you!" :) I really appreciate how
helpful we are for each other!
There is a flash sale online right now with 40% plus an extra 10% off with the code flsah plus you can stack the cardlove 20% cardholder discount with it.
ReplyDeleteIts for the US only. but that is ok. not ordering from Canada right now. don't want to add to the traffic of shipping across borders right now. when life is back to normal...I will shop again for sure.
ReplyDeletebut maybe US shoppers can or will enjoy the promo.
When the email arrived this afternoon I was pleasantly surprised. In browsing I noticed some very pretty items for everyone. I wish they made the Wild and Free tee for adults:) Little girls, big girls items are adorable. This is the first time I have seen many items that I will purchase. During the most recent launch I purchased a pair of seaside pants in natural, the garment dyed popover in pink, the bees silk shirt, l’Ocean tee, 2 pair of Converse low tops in Coast Blue $40.00, (I always purchase duplicates if I love something ) Kiki’s Navy/Green, a pretty blue stripe popover AJ472, canvas slim wide leg in natural. Hoping the quality has improved on the new items I just viewed online and will purchase after this posting. Chris Benz has done a pretty good job so far. I hope everyone is well and taking care of themselves and not going stir crazy from stress of any nature.
ReplyDeleteWill be interested to read your reviews. Agree there is a lot to like in the new items, as I expected under CB the colors are bold.
DeleteI agree! Big improvement on prints and colors - might be partially optimism about Summer, but I'm liking a lot too.
DeleteI agree . I really like alot of things....

ReplyDeleteSale is 60% off this morning if anyone is shopping. I do have a few things in my cart but for the most part retail therapy is not doing it for me these days. Hope everyone is staying well.
ReplyDeleteRe-ordered a couple of things since price is significantly lower. Also, ordered a flower bloom necklace in navy for $12. Yep, no need for lots of stuff right now. I will continue to look for a couple of specific vacation items since that’s not until August. Optimistic I’ll still be able to travel. Also, hope everyone is staying healthy.
DeleteStrictly window shopping for me these days. The things from the new arrivals that caught my eye are: the gingham jeans, the bell sleeve dress in embroidered eyelet (comes in tall!), the floral crochet top (wish it came in yellow/white like the dress), and the popover in Ratti retro floral. Wishing everyone good health!
DeleteI did end up ordering the tunic fleece sweatshirt for $15 but skipped the jeans and blouse. I had tried it over the winter in a medium, it was huge. Ordered a grey one in a size small. That's it for now.
DeleteGreat prices! Hard to shop now! It’s seems so grim. I work in the hospital so it’s been super crazy and hectic. I am keeping my head high... and hoping for the best.
ReplyDeleteDid put a few things in my cart... let you know if I make a move... stay safe everyone.... stay home if you can... xoxo
Thank you for what you do! I feel the same. I put some things in my cart and the prices are great but retail therapy just feels wrong at this point and isn't going to make me feel better. Stay safe.
DeleteHow are people handling returns? I have a skirt bought on March 2 that needs to go back. Can't go to store; don't have a return label.
ReplyDelete@flowerpower I was just coming to say the same thing! With paperless shipments there is no receipt or return label in my bag so returns will have to wait. I need to return the pleated midi skirt because the colors are awful. Makes me less inclined to make any purchases because returns will be not possible for me anytime soon. Though I do have my eye on the pleated pleather midi for $35. That’s a steal!
DeleteWhen you return via mail you now print out the label via the website. Log in to your account, go to order history and click on start a return and it should walk you through the process. Hope this helps!
DeleteYes, that works if you have a printer.
DeleteI have 2 returns I need to make. I'm just going to wait until the stores reopen. I'm going to ask for them to make an exception to the return policy considering the situation. It's only $50-ish so if I have to get a store credit, it's not too bad. But I think they'll be pretty flexible.
DeleteI’m pretty sure they are extending the return period. It’s on the website. Effective March 1.
DeleteDue to the current circumstances, we are extending our return and exchange period to 60 days for all orders placed starting March 1st, 2020.
Deleteunfortunately, i had some stuff sent to my office and my office is closed so no idea when i'm getting my stuff... it should all fit ok tho. i was away when the office closed suddenly so i never got to grab what came in.
DeleteThe few things I’m keeping from my last order is mostly sold out, One sweater is less but I used rewards on it so can’t reorder. Im tempted by one sweater but also concerned about returning the rest of what I have here. Who knows how long until stores reopen? No one can say.
