HelloStyle: 30% Off J.Crew's Spring Sale {plus 50% Off Factory}

"Thanks!" to many of you, including GigiOfCa & Ruth (in this post), who shared the following promotion from J.Crew this morning.

J.Crew is offering customers to take an additional 30% off all sale items (no min) with promo code HELLOSTYLE. Yey! This code expires Thursday, May 30, 2013. The fine print includes:
*Offer valid on purchases of sale items made in J.Crew stores and at jcrew.com from May 27, 2013, 12:01am ET through May 30, 2013, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid in J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrewfactory.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash or used in combination with any other offer. Discount on store purchases applied at register. To redeem online, enter code HELLOSTYLE in the promo code box at checkout. Limit one promotional code per order. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
There's more! International customers can take an additional 25% off all sale items (no min) with promo code STYLE. This code expires Sunday, June 2, 2013.

I love that these offers are available so quickly after the last stacked promo. Plus, I love that this promotion is being extended for in-store purchases. Especially since stores have lower price points for the same items on sale online.

Plus, J.Crew Factory is offering "50% off everything" and prices are automatically adjusted. This offer is good for today only. The fine print for this offer:
Prices as marked. Offer valid on purchases made at jcrewfactory.com from May 27, 2013, 12:01am ET through May 27, 2013, 11:59pm ET. Offer not valid in J.Crew or J.Crew Factory stores, at jcrew.com or on phone orders. Offer cannot be applied to previous purchases or the purchase of gift cards and cannot be redeemed for cash. Offer valid in the U.S. and Canada only. Terms of offer are subject to change.
J.Crew is offering a similar offer at brick & mortar Factory Stores: customers can take 50% off any purchase (using the print-out). For more info, click here and for print out click HERE. Once again, prices tend to be much better in stores (than online). So definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Will you be checking out the Spring Sale section? Are there any items you are hoping to see or to get?

  1. I will definitely be checking out the sale section during this promo. I'd love to catch a popback of the Phoebe floral popover.

Also, there are new promo-priced items this morning, as well as numerous markdowns including the embroidered voile tank, collection jeweled collar short-sleeve shirt, and charlie fatigue jacket.

I've listed all the new promo and markdown additions in this post with a link at the bottom of the page to the post where the additional promo items & markdowns are listed.

    Enjoy your holiday everyone! :)

  5. I went to the outlet yesterday and everything is automatic 50% off so no print out needed. However, everything is based on ticket price and only a few items had extra markdown so I don't think the 50% off is really a good deal since there are so many promotions weeks after week. Also you should order online from factory since it would be the same prices as in store. No need to suffer through traffic and crazy crowd.

OT: I went to the Deer Park outlet in Long Island, NY and they had a DJ playing. It was extremely obnoxious and I almost confused I went into abercrombie. Cashiers had to yell at the customers so they could hear each other. I would not set foot in them if they keep this up.

  6. I saw the printed Darby loafers pop back in a size 8.5 so I ordered them to try. I haven't worn the size 8s yet, so I'm glad I can figure out the better size.

  7. Bought two of the V-neck maxi dresses(one on the chevron stripe and one solid navy. But now I'm worried a little about the fit.....I'm 5'9" and I have a feeling that they'll come nowhere near the ankle on me. Also, I normally take an XS/2 in JCrew Factory, and ordered them in sz. XS. Does anyone have fit suggestions?

  8. Do factory stores allow you to order over the phone? I've been wanting the anchor, lobster, and seahorse tees and they are sold out/not available in my size online?

    1. Obsessed - Yes, you can totally order over the phone. Last time I did, I was charged $4.95 shipping as my order was under $100. Long time ago I ordered about 6 things. I think I was dealing w/a mgr. She wrote everything down and then grabbed them all. She confirmed the sizes/colors and shipped them to me. I find the factory stores to be very helpful.

    2. It depends on the store, on who answers the phone, on whether or not the thing is in stock, and most importantly, on whether or not the store manager allows charge-sends. I've had mixed results.

    3. Obsessed, my store isn't taking phone inquiries over the phone this weekend because it's too busy w the 50% off. I heard the SA explain that to two callers while I was waiting in line yesterday. She said they will resume phone orders and lookups tomorrow.

Don't know if that was just my store or others, you never know in the crewniverse.

  9. Darn it jcrew sucked me in again. This time factory. I got the nautical stripe pencil in tangier orange ( since I missed it last year from retail), the printed chino shorts (yay 5") in lustrous blue, the anchor Charlie sweater, the classic cotton button down shirt in fresh mango and the navy pink crystal flower bracelet. All for about $150.

  10. I'm trying the Tabbie t-straps; it says leather upper and sole--hopefully the lining is leather, too. With the promo, they aren't too bad at $68-ish pre-tax.

    Happy Memorial Day!

  11. I managed to snag the seersucker no. 2 pencil skirt in my size (14), which was reduced, so I'm very happy. Got the additional 30% off. I've seen it on several JCAs (and it looks fabulous on all of you!), and I think it will be a great summer skirt.

  14. I bit on the factory sale and used the 20% off $125 coupon that they sent a few weeks ago. Several items were backordered until early July though. Bought the teagan ruffle blouse in berry and ivory, a clare cardigan in byzantine blue, forever cardigan in navy and the cameo chandelier necklace in white...all for $102. Not a bad deal!

    2. Looks like the free ship/no minimum only lasted for a little while. It's now back to the $5.00 shipping & free returns.
