Extra 40% Off Final Sale Online (ends tomorrow!)

J.Crew is still offering an additional 40% off Final Sale with promo code GET40. However, this offer expires tomorrow Tuesday, January 29, 2013.

Plus, J.Crew has a nice update to their Final Sale section online (click here) earlier this morning. Lots of merchandise for everyone (900+ for Women and 400+ for Men). However, things sold out fast! It was crazy how quickly things were jumping out of my shopping cart (I ended up empty!)

As many of you already have mentioned, J.Crew is offering an additional 50% off Final Sale items in most brick and mortar (B&M) stores. Word from fellow JCAs is that the sale items will be shipping back from stores to the warehouse in a week or two. So stores will be pretty empty in the sale section (although online should be stocked up in awhile).

Did you check out the Final Sale section today? Were you able to snag any amazing deals? If so, please share! :)

    1. I agree pathos, and that's without free shipping on a lower $ amount. Imagine how quickly it all would have disappeared if there was free shipping/no minimum along with the 40% off.

  2. I saw item count drop drastically in about 15 mins when I checked at 6:00 am MST. Hope some of you JCAs got your excursion vests.

    1. coffeeshopandfunnyfaces, how were you able to order? I got the screen with the picture of the spring lookbook but I don't see where to go from there. Thanks!

    3. Cate - I tried desperately to open the link from my iPhone and I could not even get to the look book. I had to make a mad dash to the laptop. J. Crew does not make it easy for us to indulge in our vices.

    4. Thanks for trying - I got it to work on my laptop. Everything is harder from the phone for sure. It only took me a couple of clicks to realize that the Lookbook contains nothing in my budget lol! The first shirt I clicked on was $600... I'll wait until the rest of the rollout. Fun to look, though, thank you for the link!

    5. Thanks for the heads up about the lookbook. The only thing I really wanted was the Darling sweater but holy smokes it's $398 WTF?!? Also it was on net-a-porter last Friday at $258 but of course now it's out of stock. I'm sorry J Crew but I'm not paying almost $400 for your cashmere.

    6. Traderscoobies - I thought the same thing. It's certainly not THAT Darling for $400!

    1. That's old-school for sure! I was browsing Jcrewing over the weekend and came across a catalog with Patrick Dempsey in it (he looked good!)!

    3. I loved that catalog! Still sad that I threw it out so many years ago...

  5. I have actually been enjoying Madewell's 40% off sale much more! The no shipping minimum is awesome. I have grabbed a few skimmers for under $40, an awesome barbour coat for a great deal - yay!

    1. Free shipping no minimum is always great. I haven't even looked at JCrew due to final sale AND high shipping costs.

  6. So tired of this FS...(insert yawn) but still got suckered in for one more pair of pumps!

Anyone have an inkling as to when they will implement another full price promo...???

  7. Second this. Nothing I like is left in my size and I'm getting bored of seeing the same old stuff. Bring on spring! A full price promo would be a nice way to kick off the new season, too!

  8. The sale section at my B&M was completely cleared out. There were some winter items that were still FP--scattered sequin sweater, pear sweater etc. I did see a new version of the crystal circle necklace in blue. I lucked out and picked up the new catalog--it is much more exciting than past catalogs!

  9. I received the order I placed Friday morning today. The apricot mist leather gloves are gorgeous and luxurious! I'm excited about wearing them with my carribean pink slim trench and a winter white coat I've had for awhile. I noticed that the package said "cashmere lined gloves" and also "Michelle leather gloves". I guess they are naming them after Michelle Obama since she wore them to the inauguration? That was fast! Also, I ordered the Nolita denim jacket and am on the fence about it. It is nice but the first denim jacket i've ever owned. I'm unsure of how it should fit? I saw some other people on here had ordered it too. I'm interested to hear what you think?! TIA!

    1. Lauren I think she wore them to the first Inauguration too. I also saw that on the packaging of mine but I didn't think anything of it until I read your comment. Makes sense for them to do so though.

    2. I'm quite sure that I saw one pair of those gloves in size small at the Syracuse, ny b&m yesterday if anyone was looking.

  10. Was told at my B&M that sale (lame and picked over) will be sent back after the weekend and spring arrivals on Thursday!

  11. I'm kind of happy to see it go. I went way overboard.
Would love to see a full price promo though...

  12. Once again the 40% promo got me. Today it was slim Bowery pants in charcoal herringbone. Nothing like another pair of grey pants. I honestly am done for a bit. Time to pull a Jenna and shop my closet till spring.

    1. I grabbed those for my hubby the other day; was afraid he wouldn't like the slim cut, but they are nice! Your reviews are helpful for wives like me whose husbands don't shop :)

    2. I've been stalking these for my husband, no luck yet. But, I did get him another Ludlow - he will be happy about that! Love your reviews JCGIC.

  13. I have bought too much since before Christmas. I did bite on this promo though as I was really happy to get the bootcut jeans for the sale price via a charge send. They are still full price online.

OT but has anyone successfully hand washed their Trompe L'oeil silk blouse yet? I am debating keeping it. It seems so delicate that I am worried that it would be damaged by drycleaning since they aren't always gentle with items. I'm worried that hand washing it could ruin it?? Thank you. :)

  14. My judgement was impaired at 5:30 this morning, and I bought a couple of sale skirts before I finished my coffee. I ended up with two No. 2 pencil skirts - double serge wool in jade and dot brocade. Anybody know how the fit of those two compares to the No. 2 pencil in herringbone? Fingers crossed that they fit.

  16. I'd be curious to know if the 50% continues in store until the weekend. Any JCA's that drop by, please chime in!

  17. I was super excited because I got the glitter t-strap ballet flats - originally $218 - for about $50 after the promo and my $25 reward. As a size 7, I never find good sale shoes.
