  1. I recently order the Lilibeth Sandals online and like so many have mention the patent leather elastic strap dug into my heel like rat teeth but I was determined to pull through the pain for the sake of fashion and wear them to a summer BBQ. Realizing soon after that I couldn't live with this I contact J Crew and they quickly responded by authorizing my return. In addition they refunded my shipping cost and said that I could return them by mail with no shipping charge.

  2. Just a shout out to the nice folks at the Canton CT store. I don't have a JC in my state(yet!) so when I visit my sis in CT I often stop there. I have had unfailingly good service there, helpful without over surveillance. Last time, I left with the Feather Paisley pencil skirt, a delightful print that reminds me of Dr Suess. So, thanks to all in Canton Ct!

  3. Classic merino long cardigan (in Shallow Sea) - love! J. Crew does merino wool sweaters well. This color is really nice in person.

  4. Shoutout to Natalie at the Columbus Circle store in NYC for being so genuinely friendly and for helping me put in a red phone order for the puckered dress with free shipping!

I'm not sure if this is true of other areas as well but I've been receiving my orders with Standard Shipping in 2 days after the order is placed. For example, I put in the red phone order on Tuesday, got the email that it was shipped on Wednesday, and received the package today (Thursday)!

  5. I got a you're such a great customer letter and a $50 gift card to use if I make an appt. with a PS. Didn't see that one coming, but it is appreciated.

  6. (Semi-embarassingly) I had two great J Crew experiences this week. Rich at the Montgomery Mall location took great care of me, and then today I saw all my sweet ladies at the Annapolis location. I didn't say anything about using my 15% off professor discount because I didn't think it worked with the additional 30% off, and they told me it did and applied it for me! The sales associates are totally why I stick with J Crew even with variances in quality, styling, and price--they always help me find the gems.

    1. Also, prices were amazing...got the Maritime Anchor Dress for like $24.00 and a bunch of tees for under $10 each. Now THAT'S what I'm talking about, J Crew!

  7. I bought the back-bow dress for $148 last week. It's still $148 online, but has gone down to $55.99 in stores. I emailed my PS and she credited the difference back to my credit card with no fuss.

This pricing is crazy though - both the discrepancies and how deeply discounted prices get. I am very wary of paying full price these days.
