Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SPRING sale, or to see some new SPRING/SUMMER arrivals {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  2. Has anyone seen the new ankle zip jeans in mint and fig? How are the colors in person?

  3. ggg9-
I have the mint color and think they are a very pretty color, not too bright or too pastel. They seem to match a lot more shirts than I thought that they would.

  5. ggg9, I like the fig color - it's a grayish purple. If I didn't already have a pair of cocktail capris in a similar color, I would add them to my wish list. I love the mint - it's my favorite color.

  6. The Superfine Cotton Suiting is 30% off in store! Highly recommend the skirt, excited to add this into my work wardrobe rotation. Was exchanging the size I ordered online(apparently it runs big, I have mostly 6's and a couple 4's in my closet, took a 2 in this) and got some money back... made my day!

    1. I love the Superfine Cotton suiting. That is a great price. The white is awesome. It is the least wrinkly cotton suiting I have ever found! (Some wrinkling is to be expected with cotton)

  7. I visited the J Crew Factory store this weekend. Bought a lovely cotton leopard print Tippi (Thandie?) so now I have a winter version (merino) and a spring/summer. Not much else new at the outlet; SA mentioned new arrivals will be in on April 17th.

  9. I did quite well with the weekend online promo - Tillary canvas tote was only $70. Headed in to the B&M for the return/rebuy/adjust tango. I didn't see anything of note among the new arrivals, but I noticed that the Fanfare sweater has been marked down to $24.99.

  10. I am in love with the linen pintuck shells. I bought two and now I want the two other colorways. I am actually pregnant so they also double as a maternity shirt because of the cut.

I bought the long sleeve cashmere tee in fiesta purple. I can't get over fiesta purple! I love it!

  12. Was so annoyed! Went to get the boatneck popover in the store because it was not in my size and later sold out online - was only 19.99! Anyway, store said they would match the price, but since it was sold out online they could no longer see the markdown. As a result, I paid 39.99. Obnoxious!

  14. Can anyone describe the colour of the radio red olympia sandals , is the red a cool toned red or an orangey red .
    thanks

    1. @Navn: I thought it was a very "balanced" red, neither too blue or too orange based.

  15. Went to the Michigan Ave Chicago store today and picked up several sale items. Some were even further marked down, so I wound up paying $50 for two shirts, a pair of tights and some little girl pink barrettes.
