This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale
items at our
various local J.Crew stores. ;)
If
you are stopped
by a J.Crew store this past weekend
to see what's available (if
anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS
{sigh!} in person, maybe you
might be willing to
share that with us in this post. In
particular, if you could share
with us a few of the noteworthy items
that are available, at what
prices, and potential sizes the
store is carrying (as well as the
store location)- that would be
fantastic!
Also, please
let us know if your local store
was/ is carrying an additional
percent off sale. Thanks in
advance!!! :)
Visited the newest store in town but didn't notice a sale section. The West Vancouver store is quite large and includes a Crewcuts section.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the report Rose! Looking forward to checking it out the next time I head over the bridge...!
ReplyDeleteOT but if it was a JCA that snagged the Houndstooth Baseball Cap on popback this morning, if you change your mind about it let me know! I'm going to try to do a WWFIFY but doubt they will do it since it's on sale (but I'm hoping they will make an exception since I've never asked before). Has anyone seen it in stores lately and know if it is also on sale there? TIA!
ReplyDeleteThey are doing the search for me and matching the in store sale price with the extra 40% off! That's actually cheaper than what I would have paid in the Canadian online store. I hope they find it!
DeleteI visited Factory over the weekend. I got what I wanted when new arrivals first came out, so I really just got to try on a lot of blouses and sweaters that I was on the fence about. I didn't end up buying anything there, but I got some cute jewelry from Kate Spade (and other stuff online over the weekend).
ReplyDeleteI'll probably head over to retail sometime soon though.
Did retail trip, bought the schoolboy in burnished rust? It's a wonderful orange color, also the owl silk shirt, the sweater/jacket with zipper and a white shirt with back buttons. Male sweaters were on sale as well so got one for my bro. There were a few new arrivals at the King of Prussia store, but none of the ones on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteHello JCA's -
ReplyDeleteAre the fall/winter/holiday dresses from recent roll-outs selling well in the stores? I am a little startled that almost all the dresses available on the website are available in almost all sizes and colors (with rare exceptions, mostly Collection).
My perception of the JC dresses this season is that they are rather drab. The only one I wanted (silk twill) sold out in my size and I missed getting one (coulda, woulda, shoulda on my part).
Just got an email from Jcrew Factory for 40% off and Free Shipping from 11:30-3:00 today with code "SNEAKY".
ReplyDeleteSNEAKY was basically good for free shipping no min. Code didn't yield 'additional' 40% off. Prices have been marked 40% off since 11/16. If you used EARLYBIRD for and addtl 10% off 2+ items addtl 20% off 3+ items, you're good.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me...I got really excited thinking about a re-order.
DeleteThe Aran turtleneck sweater arrived today and is going back. I ordered both M & L and they are both pretty big on me. The turtleneck is the deal breaker, it looks like a neck brace on me. I can't carry it off. The thick 100% merino wool is amazing and wonderful though! Not itchy, thick but not crazy hot, just really nice. I also ordered the cable pocket sweater in a size L. This is probably also going back, although I may wait until I see the Boden version before I decide. It is 100% wool, the pockets are cute, the back buttons are unnecessary but harmless. The deal breaker here is the bracelet sleeves. The size L would have been okay in an oversized way but looked wrong with bracelet sleeves. If I kept it, I'd re-order a size M.
ReplyDeleteI can't even describe how super-disappointed I am with the Aran turtleneck sweater. Everything about it is EXACTLY what I have been looking for --- except for the gigantic turtleneck and the fact that my usual medium fits the way I'd expect a large (possibly even X-Large!) to fit. I'm contemplating ordering a size small (if it pops back) just to see if going down a size might help. I probably still won't be able to get past the turtleneck, but I so wanted this to work!
DeleteThree scarves that are on sale in-store reviewed on 1060 Pairs.
ReplyDeleteI visited Factory over the weekend. Scored a pair of mustard yellow Vintage Matchstick Cords for $16. $29.97 + 40% off and they honored my teacher discount. I originally went to get a Double Serge Wool Pencil Skirt. This year's factory version feels cheaper and thinner than last year's version. Anyone else?
ReplyDeleteNot sure about Factory, but that's what I thought about this year's retail pencil skirts.
