This is the weekly "Looking to VENT with J.Crew" post, a place to share our not-so-stellar experiences with J.Crew.

If you have recently experienced a frustrating situation with J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Please feel free to share your story on almost any topic— including poor experiences with purchases & orders, promotions/ offers, in-store visits, transactions with store associates, etc.

  2. I placed my first JC order today since February. I had pretty much forgotten about J.Crew - didn't look through new arrivals since then either. I bit on the 50% off sale because I need a few basics like tanks and such -- was appalled by how many things were cupro or tencel, which I don't touch -- and smocking!! No! I read this article yesterday on the success of the Nap dress and I think I understand why smocking, faded cottage colors and little-girl-esque silhouettes are everywhere now. Not my style, but apparently it is the style of many many grown women.

    1. Thanks for this link. Same here. Tired of ruffles (esp excessive), smocking and little girl dresses. I will sleep this one out. :)
