Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Some great deals but I’m restraining myself. I’m so tempted to get the feather trim button down in light blue but where am I wearing it? It’s special and fun but will I wear it with jeans out to dinner? It’s the type of piece I’d love to have for fun but it just seems so impractical.

    1. Hi Suz. i’ve seen the blue version of that feather shirt pop back but I haven’t been able to catch my size yet and this morning I slept in. I think it would be a fun addition to my fantasy wardrobe. You know the kind of wardrobe where you’re going to parties like a socialite? Have you noticed that the white version is on pre-order back order until mid summer 2022?

    2. Exactly. My fantasy life. I’m reluctant to even go to dinner these days.
I saw the white was backordered. I guess they’re making them from scratch. Lol.

    3. I picked up that blouse and really like it. It's just a fun and happy piece, and with the pandemic, I'm definitely being a little more frivolous and fun. I'm planning to pair with denim and leather leggings.

My son has also been shopping J Crew and scoring lots of deals. Thanks to his mom, he's an avid fan. We were chatting today and he was sharing about all really good deals he's been able to find. He picked up cashmere sweaters, wool pants and other goodies; he commented that he had spent $300 - $400 and had replenished/refreshed his winter wardrobe.

    4. Got a popback this morning—my typical relaxed shirt size so fit should work. We shall see if it ships.

  2. Someone mentioned the pale pink chinos somewhere (I'm sorry I forget who and where) and now I can't get them out of my head. But I really need to chill and wait before buying anything.

  3. I was thrilled to buy the vintage straight corduroys for $32 or whatever they were. Purchased the gray. I have the cream color and really like them, not that I wear them much, but I did wear them on Thanksgiving and found them a nice option when I don't want to wear dress pants or jeans. Sort of an in the middle compromise. They have been out of stock in most sizes for the past few months, so surprised there is now a full size run at such a deeply discounted price.

    1. Size up. I am always a 0/25 and took a 26 in these.

    2. Size up! I’m generally a size 23 in J.Crew jeans, but I had to size up to a 25, because the 24 was too tight around the crotch.

  4. I caved and ordered a few duplicates of items I have loved this year, including another pair of Nordic Boots and a few cashmere items. The prices w all the discounts are too good to resist and I’m okay w final sale on these. Nice to get such good deals on things you know you will get a lot of wear from!

    1. What colors did you get in the Nordic boots? I’m tempted to get the clay and the black leather but I’d have to find more storage. 😂

    2. Hi Suz, I have the black leather and I love them - so cute w the ivory Sherpa. I like the blue laces on those because it picks up the blue nicely when you wear w jeans and black tops. I also have the dune. Just ordered the sepia leather because they just went on sale and I couldn’t resist for the sale price plus promos. I think the clay is a really nice neutral, too. You can’t go wrong IMO.

    3. I know. I have the original black, sepia leather from this year and gray (cobblestone) from last year. I also have black and pecan in the crepe sole ones they did I think for two years. I love those too but they’re not fully lined in shearling.
I got the bronzed clay and sepia leather for my mom and when she wore them the first time she couldn’t believe what she’s been missing all these years. Warm feet!

    4. Oh what a good choice for your mom - I may have to get a pair for my mom, too. Lightweight and good traction plus so warm. I have preferred the leather to the nubuck this year because I’m hard on my shoes and the smooth leather seems to scuff up less.

    5. Yes, my mom said the pink (clay) has some scuffs. I am going to get suede protectant (I think I have some.)

  5. This NY weather made me think of gloves. I don’t spend a ton of time outside and have a few pairs but do like to keep them in my more frequently worn coats. I decided to get the mint gloves to match the mint coat, gray glittens and lambswool gloves for my husband. I don’t expect them to be great but good enough to take the (cold) edge off.

  6. I was waiting for this sale from a very long time. Thanks for telling me and I also want to tell you about the No lag VPN which has lots of features.
