  2. This vent is not specific just to J.Crew: why are manufacturers sewing a big stack of tags into every garment?! I’m very sensitive to the scratchy synthetic material used to make tags, so I have to cut them all out and it’s impossible to get every bit of the tag since they’re sewn into the garment. Why can’t the necessary information be written on one tag? Why do they need a big stack of tags? Even tagless t-shirts with a printed “tag” at the neckline still have a stack of tags sewn into the side seam. It drives me crazy.

    1. Jeanne, that drives me crazy too. There must have been some kind of labeling law change in the past few years where they must include the 15 tags in all languages in each garment. Even in bras and underwear from the gap. It's so annoying! I attack them with my seam ripper but have to be VERY careful not to make a hole in the garment. They should at least give us easy to remove tags, if they have to have the giant tag stack.

  3. Not a vent, but I got my teddy sherpa topcoat in the Adobe clay color. I had tried it in store In early December and thought at a fair price I’d consider it. I don’t dislike it. But something about it feels not me. Something about the style…the relaxed double breasted topcoats in leopard and mint that I got this season feel a little more fun and “cool” to me. Maybe that’s the issue. I do like it styled really simply, with a black turtleneck and jeans or black pants, so it does go with my style. Luckily it was not final sale so I’m going to keep trying it before I make a final decision.
