This is the weekly "Help Style Me!" post, where we can share items we are having trouble putting outfits together with. Elaine (in this
post) says it best, "You know, that thing you
bought because you love it and you keep pulling it
out and then putting it away without wearing it?"
Please
share your J.Crew item (either that you own or
are thinking about getting) that you would love help
creating an outfit with.
Also,
please help out by offering your styling advice. Feel
free to include links to your blog (where you
incorporated that piece) or to Polyvore (where you
showcased an outfit with that piece). Thanks in advance!

Looking for styling suggestions for my Campbell linen blazer in rust (I cant remember the correct colour name right now, but it’s from 2017 or 2018). I wore it with a bright yellow perfect tee, and of course I have white shirts, but looking for some other colours that would pair well, especially if I’m wearing it with black Maddies.
ReplyDeleteHow about bold black & white stripes? Some brighter or lighter blues work well with rust as well. Try various blues next to the jacket.
DeleteNavy goes well too, but not with black pants. Would you wear white or off white pants?
I agree with the black and white stripes. What about a coordinating shade of orange? I'd also try teal, and even red.
DeleteThanks for all of the ideas! I’ll have to head back into my closet and see if I have any of these options. I’m trying to imagine an orange that could work as I have loads of orange. I wouldn’t have thought of navy, either. Thanks again!
DeleteLooking for styling suggestions for the full length high rise pant in TENCEL dobby. I am big busted and finding it hard to get the proportions right. The pant fits beautifully and I am not ready to give up yet. Appreciate your ideas
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a v neck top, or a scoop. What do you think about a longer sleeveless vest on top?
DeleteExcellent suggestions. I like the vest idea a lot. Waist length rather than hip length right?
DeleteI'd go waist length or quite long, but not hip length. Short you showcase the long look of the pants. Long and left open in front you still see the high waist, but get a different balance overall.
DeleteThank you.
