Plenty of sale items in stores this weekend but it is much of the same that is online. Picked up the Polly popover in striped silk de chine for $70. I think it was cheaper online with the 30% off but it's currently sold out. Lots of the floral Jules dresses - no surprise there.
ReplyDeleteI know this isn't a comment related to a brick-and-mortar store, but JC online is now doing 30 percent off final sale with the code "MUSTHAVE" (it's listed at the top of their webpage now). I wonder if this code will apply to in-store items as well?

ReplyDeleteThey look like the Molly Hanna Bib necklaces designed by JC Fashion designer Molly Carey from Spring 2010. If you google it you can see other types of bib necklaces she designed for jcrew. Apparently she used one of a kind vintage finds-- real pretty to look at indeed!

I was in Boston for a conference and hit the Copley location twice over the weekend... I ended up getting the tatted lace sweater (they adjusted it to the online price, woo hoo!!!) and the navy striped Soludos espradilles.

DeleteI went to both the crewlet in Deer Park, NY and the retail B&M in Huntington on Thursday. Got the Polly Popover in Stripe Crepe de Chine like D*ska, since it was sold out online. Also picked up the Poppy King lipstick on a whim and I actually really like it. I feel like that's saying a lot, too, since it's kind of rare that I wear lipstick. But it's a great shade.
ReplyDeleteI was kind of disappointed at the crewlet after hearing so often that the prices at the B&Ms are better than they are through Factory online-- prices were definitely not better. The only advantage was that certain things came in more colors (Thandie sweater in leopard print, natch), and I was able to actually check out the things I'd been eying online.
Overall, a mixed bag at the crewlet and a small win at the retail B&M.
Agree about the crewlet, for once the site had waaaay better prices than the store. Disappointed as there were a few things I was hoping to try on IRL then buy. And the site is so picked over at this point... grrrr....

Got it at the store in Syracuse, NY. Store number is 315 472 7182. There were only about 4 or so but I do not what other sizes there were as the first one that I picked up was my size.
DeleteWhen I went to the store in Huntington (Walt Whitman mall) there were quite a few left in a number of sizes (except 4-- I got the last of those). I don't remember if there were any 12s, but I'd be surprised if there weren't.
