J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs!}

This is the weekly "J.Crew Reviews {straight from the JCAs}" post, to help each other share our reviews.

So if you have recently purchased, or stopped by a J.Crew store to try on an item (or two) from J.Crew, maybe you might be willing to share that information with us in this post.

Also, this request is not just limited to clothes. Please feel free to discuss bags, shoes, jewelry, accessories, etc.

In particular, if you could mention a few of the noteworthy details like fit, size, fabric, and the like— that would be fantastic! Thanks in advance! :)

  1. I recently picked up the Ruthie Shirtdress, and I would love some input from the JCAs on whether or not I should keep it. What do you think? :)

  2. Dear JCAs,
Did anyone try this blazer http://www.jcrew.com/womens_category/blazersandvests/hacking/PRDOVR~48174/48174.jsp
How does it fit? I am usually 0 or 2 in blazers. Thank you!

  3. This one should probably be in the vent section tomorrow . . . I bought the watercolor floral scarf in the purple olive print. Some JCAs had expressed some concerns about the quality of the scarf, and even though I knew it wasn't the same quality as the watercolor pastiche and waterfloral from last year I kept it anyway. I thought
"Oh, I'll be careful; I'm not hard on my clothes." Yeah right. The first time I wore it, my ordinary pearl dangle earrings tore not one but TWO holes with resulting snags.

I'd asked about the Excursion jacket last week. I'd been waiting for an outwear promo, but since our weather took a turn and I could use my educator discount in the store, I decided to pick it up. It won't stand up to heavy-duty outdoor activities, but it fills a need for a somewhat spiffy business casual jacket.

  4. Well, after much deliberation, I ordered the Ryder boots. They're a lot of money so if they don't fit well, I'll return them. The free shipping feels like kind of a hollow victory after spending $280+, including taxes! Does anyone have these boots? I ordered a half size up, just in case but I'd be curious to read some reviews. I called the Chicago-Michigan Avenue store to see if they had them so I could try them on but they don't at all. I would also like to vent a little and say that a sale would be nice right about now. It's not like the economy is getting any better!

  5. Hexicon: I haven't worn mine yet and I'm still on the fence about that scarf d/t the quality... it's so airy with loose weaves it's almost "gauzy." I seriously doubt it can stand up to even one season. Sigh...it's such a beautiful print. I just don't get why they couldn't have done the same print in a heavier weight wool scarfs as other ones?

  6. Academy coat in herringbone (47873) - I had to try this coat before it went to Final Sale. Personally, I liked it - but NOT for $358. The stadium cloth is not as thick and warm as past seasons (not even as warm as the 2010 Boulevard trench). The arm cuffs were stiff and very long - you can't really wear it like the model because if you don't use the thumbholes then the arm cuffs go down to the knuckles (and I have long arms!). I liked the shape, and in my regular coat size 4 I could almost button it over my 7 month pregnant belly. I didn't find it to be black and white so much as a charcoal grey and cream - and some parts of the fabric looked kind of nubby. I may pick it up at the end of the season if it goes down to $150 or so - but it's not warm enough for Upstate New York winters and the arm cuffs can be awkward depending on what you're wearing underneath. They should've just made it a 3/4 sleeve and sold it with a coordinating pair of glovelettes!

Printed scarf in wool (51927) - I'm not much of a scarf/wrap person, but I liked this one in the heather nickel (animal print). It was not too thick, but not too gauzy - just right for fall, I think.

Finespun puff sleeve tee (48439) - I was surprised to really like this one. The maraschino cherry color is just lovely and the sleeves have a little bit of "puff" without being over the top. I sized up to an M to accomodate the bump and didn't find the length to be too short.

Expecting the double-serge hacking jacket and Always wrap cardigan (which is gone from the site?) today and will review.

  9. Minnetonka deerskin mocs: I now have two pairs and I love them because they are really soft and comfortable, but the 10 is a smidge large on me which NEVER happens. I'd advise that half sizes size down in these.

The workout leggings, twisted ribbon dress (don't judge me), oxford flats in size 11 (because I got the 10 and I think they are too small, got the 11 to try), and bungalow pants are all on their way to me. I don't remember ever seeing a review of the bungalow pant but I just love the sash and for $30, it's worth a try. Any JCAs have and love them?

  10. I have actually had luck with my Betsy sweater in Henna thus far. I wore it for a short period of time (roughly two hours) about a week ago, and then for an entire school day yesterday, and have not had any pilling (yet). I wore it tucked in to the Wool Flair Skirt in Acorn yesterday -- which I also love, and recommend to many!

Picked up the Boat Blouse in Wreath, and I'm already obsessed with it. Very luxe fabric, and the shade of green is amazing. Got it in my normal size (4); could have sized down, I believe, but I like when my blouses hit a little lower. Definitely recommend!

  11. Hexicon,

I was one along with a couple of other posters about that scarf. I tried more than one (just to be sure) and they were both "crap". I used to be able to count on good quality scarves from J.Crew but I will NEVER buy one again--that is a promise! Also, I am proud to say I have stuck to my guns and bought nothing final sale the last two times it has been around. I have been so much happier not having to deal with incorrect items and previously worn items being sent to me--just cannot do it anymore. I keep hanging around and looking for that one special piece that might come along each season:) Otherwise, I have ton of old school J.Crew in my closet that is not going anywhere. I see many posts about people scoring old J.Crew on ebay and happy that most are already in my closet. (OK. wrong place to post--but had to let it out--time for a second cup of very strong black tea!) Ha ha:)

  13. I have been very happy with everything I have purchased from J Crew this fall. But I have learned what to avoid at this point and restrain myself no matter how cute certain items look.

So far, I picked up a couple of the factory striped merino sweaters (wonderful!), the boyfriend striped silk shirts in cider and navy, flair skirts in acorn and navy, and the veridian pencil (not worn yet, but I do not anticipate issues). I also picked up a silk blouse, two pairs of shoes and two scarves from Madewell.

The two cashmere sweaters and a merino cardigan I purchased in a moment of stupidity have gone back as they looked shabby straight from the packages. A cheaply made perfect shirt was promptly returned as these are hit and miss.

The only negative thing I can say about any of my purchases after multiple wears is that Madewell and JC both need to go back to French seaming their shirts. It is shameful that a $100+ silk skirt doesn't have finished seams.

  14. kitsmommy,

So good to hear you are happy with most purchases this season. That is nice to know:) This is the first fall on record since about 2001 that I have not bought one thing! (I have tried but nothing is "special" or fits or is worth the current selling price for me.

  15. Cambridge Cable Zip Crewneck in acorn (47932): size down.(vanity sizing AGAIN!) the zippers are a nice touch to the standard screwneck sweater. pretty color. but i think the knit is thinner than last year's cable sweaters.

Fair Isle Sweater in sandstone (47293): not sure how to explain it but the sweater muffin tops me... it may be the extra stiching at the bottom and the fact it's not a heavy sweater, but the way it sits, it actually puffs out a little all on its own making me look like i have love handles. needless to say it's going back.

and a little off topic: i bought the flair skirt in henna and i like it a lot, but i'm having a little trouble deciding what to wear with it. i'm thinking of exchanging it for the acorn color (or buying the banana republic version with pockets instead if i can find it)... i don't know... i guess i just need a second opinion... how seasonal vs. classic staple do you guys think that henna color is? it has a very '70s vibe to it and i'm worried about it looking dated. although, the '70s vibe attracted me in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I like the henna color in the flair skirt and I think the skirt would look good with golds, grey, navy and black.

I saw a girl on Polyvore in a similar skirt with black tights, a black leather jacket and black shoes and the outfit was stunning.

    http://www.polyvore.com/street_chic_paris/set?id=37584204

I think that color might date more than some, but really, you see rust or burgundy colored skirts every fall and I could definitely see getting 2-3 fall/winters out of it.

  18. Joanie- did you have to wear a cami under the silk boat blouse? I ordered it as well, but it hasn't arrived yet

  19. I just bought the studded Cece flats in black. I absolutely love them. So comfortable, no break in period at all.

  20. Has anyone tried the Townhouse trench? I'm so curious about it! I'm not ready to purchase it yet, so any reviews or IRL pics would be so appreciated!! Thanks :)

  21. I received the ribbed cashmere crewneck from the recent 30% off. I sized down on someone's recommendation (Clicquot, maybe?) which was the right call. It is still loose and comfortable, but not too sweatshirt-like. The cashmere is nice and thick, we'll see about pilling.

Also, I ordered the silk flair skirt last night because it looked like the 4 was selling out. Outrageous price, but I've fallen in love with the outfit on the website with the tipped jacket and it doesn't look like this will make it to sale. (The 4, and a few other sizes, are now gone). It was backordered until November.

  22. Sorry, mistake in previous post, I meant silk swish skirt, not flair.

  23. I have a review of the Cashmere-lined leather gloves on my blog here. These are really nice gloves, similar to the versions from 2009, which I used for comparison in my review.

    ReplyDelete
  24. simplydreaming: Right now I think I could get away without a cami underneath, as I did not find the blouse to be all that sheer. When I do a more thorough try-on to assess how clingy it gets after a while, I may change my mind about wearing a cami underneath it.

  25. I recently nabbed a few finds from the warehouse sale {you can read about it here}. Below is a brief review of the NEW CAFE CAPRI in Wool (Bright Dahlia):

    New Cafe Capri in Wool
These gorgeous pants fit one size small in my experience. I'm an avid J.Crew fan & regularly fit into their size 4 pant; I bought a size 2 at the sale and planned on selling them on Ebay, but tried them on out of curiosity & they fit! JCAs, I encourage you to try these in a size smaller than you usually wear. The Bright Dahlia color -- a to-die-for bright magenta featured in at least one of their F/W 2011 ads -- is even more swoon-worthy in real life. I didn't pay retail, but after trying them on, I absolutely would have (even on a broke college girl's budget).

For more J.Crew reviews, including the Crushed Glitter Sandal and Bi-Stretch Wool Minnie Pant, be sure to check out my style-on-a-budget blog at Ladylike + Broke.

  26. I preordered the Townhouse trench and was really excited about it, but it was disappointing. I am a fan of the double cloth, but do not think it was drapey and soft enough for this style. The belt wouldn't tie right and the coat just seemed too stiff.

The caramel was darker in person than I expected and runs a little small. I am usually a size 4 at 5'4" 125# in most J Crew jackets and coats and would have definitely had to size up.

  27. Hi all! I tried out the Classic Flare jeans in jezebel wash in the HOPES that they would fit just like my beloved high-heel flared jean (which JC no longer makes). They are pretty good, but not the same. A nice flattering cut - straight through thigh and a flare starting near the knee, a high rise (which I like), and a substantial but not crazy flare (which I also like). The denim is quite light weight, so it's comfy, but it's quite thin. Not quite as dark/indigo of a wash as I was hoping. All in all, I liked them, but I didn't $146 (CDN price) like them so I sent them back. Had they been a dead ringer for my beloved HHF I would have paid that and more. Fits TTS. If I can't find a pair of flares I like better I might rebuy. Do JCAs have any suggestions for jeans that mimic the High Heel Flare? They are the best jeans EVER.

    Ever!!!

  28. Kitsmommy - I'm curious as to which Madewell silk blouse you bought. How was the fit? Did you buy the same as your usual JC size?
How does the quality of the scarves compare to that of JC's.
    Thanks

  29. I have the Alexa Cora and the Bookmark Rusty Torch blouses. Both are size smalls. I had a Bromley blouse that was lost by my drycleaners that was an xs and was perfect, so you may need to try a couple of sizes with each top. I am usually a size 4 or small with JC for comparison.

I love the storyteller scarves and have the hunter/gather and the NYC one currently on the site. They are light and gauzy, but I don't wear jewelry that snags, so they have done ok with me. I do not know how they compare with JC's unfortunately, as I am not really a scarf person. I only like the oversized square wool ones and the crew rarely makes them.

  30. Hooray, just got my Hacking Jackets in Berry and Acorn (I couldn't decide, so just tried both, argh). I haven't had time to do a full try-on review, but it's really lovely at a first impression. The berry is nice and bright and actually more red in color than pink, which is the opposite of what I was expecting. Not that I don't like it, it's pretty and really striking. The buttons seem nice -- berry has navy with gold (little pineapple) and heather acorn are cream with gold. The double serge feels sturdy, and I would say it feels a bit more fitted than the herringbone, but I wouldn't size up personally. I'll do a full review on my blog tomorrow though, with pics.
p.s. rynetta, it looks great on you!

    ReplyDelete
  31. BTW, I just got the Alexa Cora last week and forgot about it when I wrote my first post on this thread. I kept it because I have been looking for something in ivory with black dots and I love the fabric the and rounded collar. I do think it was a bit overpriced for what it is and that the premium for the name is too high on this series.

I am sure I sound like a broken record, but I really want French seams when I am rolling up my sleeves (and paying $135 for a simple silk shirt).

    ReplyDelete
  32. @miss_JR -- I'm in the same dilemma as you!

I have ordered the flair in heather acorn and henna from J Crew, and also bought the BR version (Madeline skirt), and can't decide what to keep. The BR skirt is about half the price, but it wrinkles easily. The fabric is thinner, which means it has a nicer drape but it does look cheap compared to the J Crew version. Keeping a camel colored one and the henna is tempting, though I'm not sure how long this silhouette will stay in vogue. The J Crew skirt is high quality and feels like it could last a life time.

    Decisions, decisions!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks, Kitsmommy. I've been admiring the Storyteller scarves, but don't am unsure how to wear square scarves. The patterns are unique and seem to sell out quickly, at least the ones I've wanted.

  34. Thanks, shopwithm!! Also, the new paisley perfect shirt is beautiful!!!

  35. Wowee! I love the 7" chino shorts! I tried them on a whim via final sale and ordered a couple brights - modern red and shocking pink. The length and fit are both perfect and the colors are great, especially for Palm Beach County where I live :) I have another pair in green (ceylon tea) on the way and will buy more as certain colors pop back. I can really see these becoming a year round wardrobe staple.

Also, I'm really pleased with the skinny plaque belt in black. It adds a polish to my regular work "uniform" that helps me look refined even when I just throw on a blouse and pair of pants in the morning. Definitely recommend this one. I was so happy with the black that I ordered the tan as well, and the skinny bow belt as well.

  36. I received my serge hacking jacket today. The color is a bit brighter and more red than the bright berry Maggie from a few years back. It is nice, but it isn't a keeper for me as I think I like the tipped hacking the grey that I tried on at my B&M better.

Oddly, this one seems to fit about a size smaller than the herringbone and tipped versions I tried already and I would have to size up one size. This 4 is much tighter than my Maggies in the same size.

    ReplyDelete
  37. I also received the double serge hacking jacket in bright berry. The fabric and cut are fabulous--not itchy at all. However I found the berry color to be way too bright and orange-y for me. I would have preferred the more muted pink-type color it looks online. It wasn't "heathered" at all. I may re-order this jacket in a more neutral color or see if additional colors are offered in future rollouts. As far as sizing I am between a 12 and 14 in jackets and the 14 fit perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just received a couple of items this today:

Boat blouse in silk: ordered this in wreath. My old shirt size in JC was 6, but it seems more and more I am wearing 4's. I didn't get smaller so... Anyway, I ordered a 4 and 6 to compare. The 4 fits perfect and I am in love!! This cut and color of this blouse are beautiful and I am so excited to wear this. My only concern is that I have had some armpit issues with other JC silk tops strangely enough. The seems sometimes split on me, so I hope that doesn't happen here.

Funnelneck Sweatshirt: I ordered this in heather caramel, size S. As soon as I tried it on before I even looked in the mirror, I felt like I was swimming in it. The interior was also a bit scratchy, not as cozy and soft as I was hoping. When I looked at myself in the mirror I felt completely underwhelmed. The funnelneck falls kind of awkwardly and felt like a big hunk of material sitting on my chest. This one is definitely going back! If you still feel compelled to try this piece I would suggest wearing something under it, and size down.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Also received the double-serge hacking jacket in bright berry. Wow - I did not like the color at all! I think Cass described it perfectly...it's just not for me. The color is very hard to read because it looks different in almost every picture - definitely something you've got to see IRL, I think. Mine also had a weird, almost greasy handfeel. What's up with that?

The always wrap cardigan is great - I'm a big fan of the open cardigan silhouette, and like the ties and find them flattering. Keep in mind that it's not a belt, but two ties on each side of the cardigan. Super comfortable, and I'll probably go back for the vermont pine.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I had time last night to play around with the berry Hacking Jacket, and compared it to some other JC colors. Er, it's basically poppy. It goes with the floating rose flair skirt. It also matches pretty closely to the modern red silk twill skirt. Similar also to the Ecole jacket in papaya I think it was? So, it really is more of a red than pink. I really had hoped for more pink, as I have a lot of the poppy/red color already. Sort of a bummer. I love the heather acorn color though! Great neutral.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Re. the hacking jacket in bright berry, I saw it in store against the schoolboy blazer in decadent red and while they read both as red to my eye the decadent red has an orange undertone while the bright berry has a pink undertone. It is very similar to the maraschino cherry color IMO. Definitively a bright red though and not a pink. HTHS!

  42. I purchased the latest rollout wool flannel Hutton trousers in camel(item 56736). I have been looking for a pair of camel pants and these are perfect. The wool is the same wool as the wool cafe capris from this season however these are lined (yes!) which makes all the difference. I have an hourglass shape and have had fit issues with many pairs of the lower rise Jcrew suit pants over the past few years but these are great. The waist hits right at the navel but I have plenty of room in the hip/thigh area which is often my issue with their pants. The regulars have a 34" inseam which means they're a "wear with heels" pair of pants for me (5'8" with about a 32 in inseam). Probably won't snag another pair at FP but will hold out for sale.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Clay Check Perfect Shirt - Rust and navy blurred checks on a cream background. The rust looks less orange IRL than how it appears on my monitor. Usual size fits fine. Nice weight cotton.

Perfect Shirt Warm Jade - Lovely jewel tone emerald color, imo. It's a cotton silk blend so the fabric is slightly sheer and has a bit of sheen. Definitely feels lighter and cooler than the 100% cotton Clay Check version.

Silk Elodie Petite Small - Fit in the body similar to the Regular XS, but because the shirt length and the sleeve length are shorter I think the overall look is better for me (I'm 5'3.5").
It's still loose and a bit flowy, but not overwhelmingly so.

Zip Cable Sweater - I sized up to a small so I could layer it over a shirt. I probably could have ordered the xs and still have layered it easily.

  44. Did someone mention that they wash JC silk blouses by hand with baby shampoo or am I hallucinating?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I just posted some reviews and pics of the Boat Blouse in wreath (love!), Natasha top in a new blue, a new tie-neck Super 120's top, and the vintage cotton baseball tee (with silk arms) here.

  46. maryeb -- yes, indeed! I've washed my silks in cold water machine wash (specifically the Blythe shirt and the ruffled silk camisoles). Sometimes I wash in the sink with cold water and conditioning shampoo.

Both work great! Easier on the wallet and the environment than dry cleaning.

For the silk camisole, I ran my finger over the micro-pleats while it was still damp, and while the ruffles were fluffier than before, all the pleats held without ironing.

  48. Found a box of J.Crew on my doorstep during my lunch break (love when that happens)! Reviews....

Hacking Jacket, Heather Bright Berry: Really glad I decided to jump on this one - it's a lovely jacket. The color is a true red with the slightest hint of pink...think strawberry jam. Looks great with navy, gray, and yellow. Didn't like it with black. If you are between sizes, size up, and the sleeves might be a bit short for someone with long arms. The enamel buttons make it special...it would be perfect if they had finished it with tie silk on the lining and under the collar.
Boy Shirt in Crepe de Chine, Navy Stripe: Looks as good in person as it does online, and feels great against the skin. Took my regular size in tops -size 8- and it doesn't pucker in front (I'm busty and I have to be careful, especially with any stretch button-downs). Very slightly sheer...will be wearing a nude bra. I'll echo kitsmommy in saying that I wish they would french the seams - one of those little extra quality touches that are appreciated and very much missed.
Also, I took a risk and bought the Dearie dress for $59.99 on FS...and I struck out. This is not a dress that suits large chests - the waistline hits in the middle of my torso and looks awful! It is, however, super soft and has a pretty drape...maybe I can sell it on Ebay to someone with a less robust bust, haha.

  51. I was in NYC this past weekend and managed to hit three J. Crew stores, Rockefeller Centre, Prince St. and the one on Madison Ave. Brief reviews:

    - tried on and bought the cotton cardigan in the floating/blurry rose print (not online). The red/white contrast is much stronger than either the double serge flair skirt or the silk blouse, and the colour really stands out. I got my usual size Small.

    - tried the downtown skinny jeans, but it was a disappointment. The size 27 fit in the legs but gave terrible muffin top, but the size 28 was way too big and baggy.

    - Clipper cardigan - currently on sale. Fits TTS. Unfortunately, I passed on this one, because I found the camel colour didn't work for my complexion. I think it is because of the cotton content, so the colour was not the deep rich camel I was looking for.

    - Winterlude blazer: I tried my usual size 6 and found it very snug through the waist. Unfortunately, because of the multiple gathers in the centre back and the snugness of the waist, it looked ridiculous on me as the back of the jacket puffed out above and below the waist. The fabric is very thick and lofty, and automatically adds on several pounds visually. This was a definite pass for me.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I got some deliveries today!

Hacking in double serge in camel - Gorgeous. The buttons are beautiful, the fit is great (no open vent problem). The fabric is thick but not too thick for a blazer, they same as the double serge pencils. I love it.

Hutton trouser in wool flannel - Dare I say these run slightly small? I think it is because they ride higher on the waist but I will need to size up on these. I got the petite length and it is perfect for those of us under 5'4".

New paisley shirt. - Well...its thin....but nice. It is a silk blend and there is a slight sheen to it. It will match anything jazzy purple that you may have purchased. That pattern is well defined, more so than say the casbah print but not quite as sharp as I expected or not as sharp as the paisley skirt was. The the colors are gorgeous and deep jewel tones.

Tomorrow my mixed media skirt arrives. CAN'T WAIT!

  55. Can anyone compare the sizing of the wool sash skirt with that of the city mini? I love the city mini that I have but am rather enamored with the sash skirt and am considering ordering. Also, is having the city mini in more than one color overkill?

  57. Could anyone comment on the fit & quality of the Fair Isle Sweater item #47293? I see that it was marked down this morning and I haven't had a chance to see or try it IRL.

    Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  58. BeyondtheBlue: I tried the Fair Isle sweater and found it to fit TTS. I should be an XS in sweaters, but have had to size down to XXS in some such as the Tippi and the Betsy - the XS was the best fit in the Fair Isle. I did, however, find it to be quite short, hitting just at the top of my jeans. I also found it to be a bit unflattering, almost creating love handles. I would recommend trying this one on before purchasing on FS. HTH!

  61. Mary- I bought the petite double serge hacking jacket. It is a good length, hits right around my hip, slightly shorter than the regular length. The sleeves are shorter than the regular, I don't have the exact measurements but it must be a half to three quarter inches shorter and I have regular length arms :) I like sleeves that hit on that wrist bone area. Some of the really exceed expectation details are not there (silk trim, nice fabric under the collar. There is currently a felt backing under the collar). Over all i would give this jacket a meets expectations+.

  62. Caitlin- thanks so much for the fit information. It is good to know that it isn't one of those sweaters where an extra small is huge. However with it being a bit short and creating "love handles", I definitely won't be ordering until I get a chance to try it...a FS sweater that gives the impression of a muffin top would be a huge disappointment!

  63. I'm guessing not too many JCAs are looking at this item, but I just received the workout leggings. I really like them and I'd say the look just as pictured online, but they are REALLY long. I am 5'9"ish and have a 34" inseam, and I'm really wishing these leggings were 1-2" shorter. They go all the way down to the very bottoms of my ankles and are bunchy. The material is nice and I really like the drawstring... they will be great for running when it's in the 40s out. They are just... so long!

I also got the twisted ribbon dress which I actually really like! It doesn't look like it does on the model... it is just sort of loose and flowy. Very cute, but too small in the bust for me in my normal size 6. Would be more flattering on someone less endowed! The navy with black ribbon straps looks very chic.

Oxford Ballet flats... I know these are really old news, but they still aren't on sale, so. I can't believe how cheap they seem. There is a factory version of these in-store only and I can barely tell the difference between the two. I hate the rubber sole and the leather doesn't seem real. Oh well, they are cute and really comfy so I am keeping them. Once again I have to get an 11 and put inserts in them because the 10 is suddenly too small. J.Crew, pleeeeease bring back 10.5s!

  64. Actually I was looking at the Workout Leggings and thought they might be too long, so thanks for the review, JCrewJD.
