J.Crew October Catalog: Have You Seen It Yet? :)

A big (and I mean gigantic) "thank you!" goes to AppGal who shared with us the following images in J.Crew's new October catalog.

Created with Admarket's flickrSLiDR.

I don't know what it is- but I love looking at new catalogs. Even if they aren't a location issue, I still love them!

Have you seen the October catalog in person already? What are your thoughts on the catalog and the items featured? Are there any "love it" or "leave it" items? ;)

P.S. I just have to say "thank you!" again to AppGal who took out the time to scan these images for us. I really appreciate it. :)

  1. Wow I haven't seen the catalog yet but I've definitely already seen several of those items on final sale! That silk dress with the circles is marked down A LOT, and still not selling in the final sale section of my local store! I'm not sure I ever saw it full price even. I wonder how they decide this stuff...

  2. Does anyone know if the purple peacoat in the catalog is same plum peacoat already on the website? The colors look completely different to me. I love the color in the catalog but i am afraid I will be disappointed in real life.

  3. I love the jacket on pg 39! I hope it is not crazy $$

  4. Yay appgal. Thanks for sharing and to Alexis for posting.

  5. I love the Asian models they choose!

  6. Thanks for the sneak peek!!! But so uneventful. I've seen most of these already in store for weeks in Boston, MA. I was hoping for more, but instead it looks like they jacked up the prices. :(

    ReplyDelete
  7. Of course they won't be unveiling much of anything new. How will they get rid of their current inventory if they get everyone all anxious for the next line up?

    ReplyDelete
  8. lovesargyle: I also liked the purple color in the catalog!

    ReplyDelete
  9. jeff t- they've done it in the past. I've been wowed in most every other reveal, perhaps my expectations are too high and it's costing too much to put out more merchandise (hence the problem with getting rid of the current merchandise)- either way, this will be a good time to just enjoy all the purchases I've made already! :)

  10. I love the city tee cardigans - super cute and perfect for the San Diego weather. I like all the flowers they're using in the various pieces as well as the vintage flower pins, although I don't know if I have the guts to wear one. Very Carrie Bradshaw...

    ReplyDelete
  11. Lovesargyle- I picked up the catalog last night in my local store and the plum peacoat is super cute, but it must be the same one currently on the website as they couldn't have 2 purple peacoats??? It looks better in the new catalog vs. the internet.

Shannon- the jacket on p39 is the Felicia coat in Bright Rhubarb and is $285-SO cute!

I was disappointed not to see much new jewelry in the catalog? But lots of flower pins on everything- yes very Carrie B.

Good to know that I have the same good taste as my fellow bloggers:)

  12. thank you for scanning and posting the catalog appgal and alexis!! it's always fun to check out the new catalog :)

  13. Yes, I got it today when I went to stop by at a B&M Jcrew! A few things caught my eye...The Long Glenbrae Sude High Heel Boots, the Heavy-wool pique felicia coat, and I like the Lulu shoes with the bow!

  14. Anyone know when new things will be updated on the website?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Thanks appgirl for taking the time to get us these images! The items pictured are very pretty, but as Allison said, I'm pretty sure I saw the silk circle dress marked down to $59.00+another 25% at the Rockaway Townsquare in NJ. It's amazing that merchandise can be so deeply discounted before it even makes it into the catalog.

Some people have been wondering in other posts where the fuglybug pin had landed--I think I see it on page one!

    Thanks again appgirl and Alexis!

  16. Girls:

Thank you so much. Couldn't wait to get up this morning and pour my coffee in anticipation of the new catalog being posted. Maybe that's why I couldn't sleep last night! :(
I'm going to stop by my bm today at lunch and pick up the new catalog. I like that yellow coat and a couple of other pieces. As long as there are a few things we can talk about don't be too disappointed in the lack of the wow factor. JC is thoughtfully giving us time for our credit cards to recover for that really big november rollout!!!

    ReplyDelete
  17. I too love the purple:) Although, I would really like a few more cotton options for the cardigans or sweaters in general. Dry cleaning is a put off.

  18. FabulousFloridaMommy: Thanks for the suggestion to scan the Oct catalog.

AppGal: Thanks for scanning and sending pics.

Alexis: Thanks for posting the catalog.

    :)

To anyone in receipt of one: Was there anything new for men?

    ReplyDelete
  19. appgal: Thank you so much for sharing the catalog so that we could see it. You rock! :)

Alexis: You rock too...as I've told you that MANY times before! :)

    ReplyDelete
  20. Thanks so much, appgal and Alexis! This kind of collaboration is why I LOVE this blog. Am really curious about some of the colors, though - that bright rhubarb Felicia doesn't really look much like the BRIGHT one I saw in the store (I ended up getting the navy one, though - woohoo!). I'll have to stop by the B&M to see what's up. :)

  21. Haven't seen the catalog yet. I did get a message yesterday from my store that new stuff was arriving on Monday. She didn't say how much or what though.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The catalog didn't have a wow factor (although I love that it was posted here - thanks!) but it did have a few cute new things - Love the black and white circle pattern jacket - very cute, wouldn't buy it for myself, but do love it. I also really like the kind of open knit, cabled gray sweater. I thought that was cute and is a definite maybe. On the negative, the bug pin as one of the top 8 things I should buy...I don't think so!

  23. So wonderful to see the new catalog thank you!

I LOVE the plum color, it looked so great with the purse she was carrying! I for one cannot wait for the new stuff to hit on-line so we can all chat about!

Maybe this also means new thngs will be added to the sale?

    ReplyDelete
  24. The JCrew website doesn't recognize my sign in and password this morning! It recognizes me at the top of the screen where is says "Welcome MyNameHere (not you?)"

Is or has anyone else had this problem? I'm on their site at least once a day.

    ReplyDelete
  25. thanks for the catalog! how nice of you to share ;)

this seems like one of those in-between catalogs. i feel like every other one is really great, and the others have some new stuff but aren't too excited. some of the sweater dresses look cute but not so different from what is already there (could be the same ones for all i can tell!) anyway, happy to be taking a shopping break now anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  26. lovesargyle: I can't say for sure about the plum color since I haven't seen it in person, but I agree...I saw the color in the catalog and literally said, "ooooh..."

megan: i love the city tee cardigan as well; i'm a little disappointed in the color choices since there's only a champagne and black available. but I do love the price :)

everyone: i apologize for the quality of the pics--if you have questions about things you can't see clearly let me know :)

    ReplyDelete
  27. shannon: the price of the jacket on page 39 is $285...I love it too :)

    ReplyDelete
  28. anony@7:27...I had the exact same feelings about the 3 items you mentioned!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just a recommendation (off topic) but has anyone purchased the
    City-fit Ellie Chino 89044 $29.99
    ?

I was pleasantly surprised at the snugger fit in the hip and thigh area of these pants. I have purchased 5 pairs of them in duplicate colors so I can wear them often. (The way they fit in the bum reminds me of the slim cut of the Keaton pants.) Plus the chino fabric is really soft, almost like you 'pet' the fabric in either direction. I love these pants!!

I never paid any attention to these pants until I noticed them at $29.99 and NOT final sale.

If you are bulky in the bum/hips/thigh area I would size up in these a size or two. If you are slim you might just love these pants too!

I love the Feilicia coat in Bright Rhubarb too!! I love the Brigth Rhubarb color this year period.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Thanks for the catalog:)

Also, been wondering...is the final sale going to be a permanent thing? Wish we could get a JCrew employee to comment...someone out there has got to know???

    ReplyDelete
  31. Thanks AppGal this is awesome. Looks like they have some great stuff out this year!

Of course I didnt get the catalog and probably wont. Since apparently, J.Crew is incapable of mailing to me :(

    ReplyDelete
  32. appgal: THANK YOU for scanning the catalog and sending it to Alexis! We really appreciate it! :)

alexis: THANK YOU for posting it here for us all to see! :)

I must admit I was hoping there was going to be a lot more new merchandise than what there is. That Black and White patterned jacket is selling for $450, it looks like...SAY WHAT?!?!? It's really cute, but not $450 cute! The Houndstooth Clea and Tweed Penny jackets are really cute, too, but once again a little overpriced, IMO. The Houndstooth Greta obviously didn't make it in this time...maybe in the next catalog? It's supposedly going to be priced at $375.

So I wonder how long it will be until this is on the website...maybe this weekend? I hope so! :)

Btw...I've mentioned this before, but that Brown and Yellow dress on page 29 looks almost exactly like one by Tory Burch that has been selling at Neiman Marcus for almost 3 months now...I first saw it on the store mannequin back in July. (I have to walk through Neiman Marcus at the mall to get to my J.Crew.)

    ReplyDelete
  33. Wow, the prices on those new jackets is just INSANE to me esp. for someone used to shopping JCrew for 7 years! I just received a jacket from the Sept. roll out and it is not worth the full price I paid for it so it is going back waiting for a sale....just not happy with JCrew's high price points right now. I am not a bargain shopper by any means but....

    ReplyDelete
  34. This is so great! Thanks so much for taking the time to post the new catalog! I was kind of upset at first because I bought the Felicia coat in bright rubarb and when I saw the catalog I thought they came out with new colors!!! But I think it's just because it has been copied onto the internet :) Also, in my b&m, there were several other colors of the city-tee cardis (including white and a medium gray color) but those colors didn't have the flower on the shoulder, just a little bow on the neckline. :)

    ReplyDelete
  35. FFM: I know this is off-topic, but do you have any polyvore sets with the mercerized cotton v-neck tee? I just got this shirt (in honey glaze) and really like it, but it's a little see-through and I can't figure out how to wear it best.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Lindsey b: congrats on the Felicia coat! It's gorgeous! What did you think of the city tee cardigans when you saw them?

    ReplyDelete
  37. Thank you so much appgal and Alexis! This is great!

I'm actually pleasantly surprised! Sure, there are items we've all seen before but I think there's a lot more new merchandise than I expected! Yay! Now I may be in trouble because there seems to be MANY items I'm interested in...DARN! ;)

    ReplyDelete
  38. What is up with the one-legged pose? The pseudo-ballerina thing? I am so sick of that convention! Like they really need to contort the models like that to make them look even taller and thinner? Blah!

Anyways, I don't see much I like here, the plum peacoat is beautiful. The houndstooth jacket looks promising, but I need a closer look.

    ReplyDelete
  39. jcrew.com is not loading for me this morning (I use firefox). Anyone else having problems?

    ReplyDelete
  40. appgal: I don't have any sets yet, but I'll add the tee to my FFM Blog list and make one or two this weekend for you. :)

    ReplyDelete
  41. Thanks for sharing! I hope I get mine soon. I saw a lot of things that are either new or I never noticed before. I need something in plum--just can't decide what!

    ReplyDelete
  42. The Asian model featured is gorgeous, I'm glad they're using her a lot! And in the picture of her in the floral bella (pg 6?), she is wearing the men's English placket belt--I wear the belt with skirts and dresses, too (but in brown)! yay :P

I usually just prefer the styling of the brown + black men's belts to the women's. I get the women's skinny belts when I want something colorful or metallic.

    ReplyDelete
  43. oh ffm: I have to tell you, as soon as I saw the Astor jacket, you came to mind! It is a fabulous jacket (or seems to be)! But YIKES! that price tag is steep!

I am LOVING the purple peacoat, merino Paige Jacket, Boucle Tweed Penny Jacket and the double strand flower necklace. Man that would be a HEFTY bill!

    ReplyDelete
  44. also, I don't like the tone of the catalogue (& web... & and I guess company's) new verbage. It's really snobby and I never thought of jcrew like that (preppy, sure but not better-than-you opulent). I should be jealous of others who have luxe items? I should want all the "of the moment" pieces as opposed to quality classics that I'll wear for years? Really? I guess that's the attitude you have to take on when you're trying to go upscale. Meh.

    ReplyDelete
  45. appgal - I really like the city-tee cardis... I bought the champagne colored one featured in the catalog. The weight will be great with pretty much everything and every season. I think it was $58. I didn't think the cardis without the flower detail on the shoulder were as cute (gray, white, and maybe another color) but they were the same price. The fit is TTS in the shoulder/ arm area and a little on the big side troughout the body - which is fine for me because I have a lot of the more fitter cardis, plus I imagine this might shrink a bit upon first wash. I chose the cardi over the boatneck city-tee because I just could not try it on in any color or with any outfit combo in the b&m were I didn't instantly think "sweatshirt" so I couldn't justify even $35 on the boatneck. But I LOVE the cardi! :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. lindsey b: thanks for the info! I think this is definitely a piece I will be getting soon. And as far as the champagne color goes...is it a deeper "beige" color, or more muted? It looks like a very versatile color to have, but then again, I can never tell unless I see it in person :)

    ReplyDelete
  47. appgal - I would have personally called the champagne color "off-white" as I'm pretty sure there is no color it wouldn't compliment well! Very muted!

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks so much for the catalog peek, appgal and Alexis! While there may be an absence of new stuff, I do like how everything is put together. Dare I say it - it's like my polyvore combos LOL! But seriously, the understated accessories and the fun combos - it's cute!

And ahh...the models are smiling! :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. OK, well at least *some* of the models are smiling!

    ReplyDelete
  50. this is what i get for typing fast: "The fit is TTS in the shoulder/ arm area and a little on the big side troughout the body - which is fine for me because I have a lot of the more fitter cardis, plus I imagine this might shrink a bit upon first wash."

obivously, I meant "throughout" and "fitted" - lol

    ReplyDelete
  51. I just tried to go to jcrew.com and it is down for maintenance??? Also, yesterday I placed an order online and there were yawah.com images going across many of the items??? I emailed customer service and there apparently is a "glitch" with the uploading of their photos. I prefer the old jcrew site, there always seems to be yet another problem that they are apologizing for...

    ReplyDelete
  52. Looks like they are going for the greasy hair aesthetic on one of those models...

    ReplyDelete
  53. FYI....new website is up with the catalog!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. The new stuff is SORTA up--you look under new arrivals and it's still the old stuff! :-( Hope it's all updated soon!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Would someone who's b & m store has the black silk ring print dress on sale be able to help me out? I'd love to be able to get one at the sale price but can't do a charge send since I'm in Canada. If anyone is going to a store and could pick one up in an 8 for me, I'd be super happy (and happy to paypal the $ ahead).

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh, and thank you so much to Appgal and Alexis for posting this!

    ReplyDelete
  57. Thanks for the view of the new catalog. I have to say that I was underwhelmed by the new items. Don't think I will be purchasing anything. That print dress reminds me of something from the 60's. Not my cup of tea.

    ReplyDelete
  58. it looks like they just changed the banners and the intro page, haven't seen any new item pages yet....

    ReplyDelete
  59. that circle dress was already on sale at my store, $89 or $99 with the add'l 20% off. it fits kind of weird. maybe that's why it's on sale?

    ReplyDelete
  60. I am heartbroken because the Trixie heels (pictured on Jenna's page)in warm ivory are already sold out in my size! I was holding out for the next private sale...dumb me.

    ReplyDelete
  61. You can *Browse Catalog* through that link at the bottom of the J.Crew web page. :)

    ReplyDelete
  62. They supposedly hired a sculptor to create the Jenna bracelet because they couldn't find something bold and chunky...I have a two-tone bracelet that is EXACTLY like it that I've had for almost 20 years...so much for her bracelet being original. :)

    ReplyDelete
  63. Okay...don't get excited about the website (not that you probably were! LOL!)....it's down again. Ahhh....if I just had a b&m nearby, I could forget all this nonsense!!! A girl can dream.....

    ReplyDelete
  64. I personally REALLY like several of the new things.
I know a lot of people are having a hard time with the change in style/look that J Crew is heading towards--not as classic/preppy or say--traditional with a twist as it started morphing out of in the past couple years..but I LOVE it! It is actually the very reason that for the past 2 seasons--I am ONLY shopping with J Crew these days! When I saw that first catalog maybe last Spring with the great bright colors and the darling fitted cardis and longer shirts and belted blouses/cardis--I started LOVING their product again!! I used to get a couple things here and there but I think it was Jenna's take-over and style influence that caught my eye and now I am totally hooked! I think it is just SUPER FAB now:) BTW-LOVE THE FLOWERS AND THAT WHOLE VIBE, LOVE THE PLUM COLORS AND NO ONE MENTIONED THE gathered blouse--that looks super fab:) (sorry about that moment of caps lock)

    ReplyDelete
  65. Its working for me in internet explorer but not in firefox. go figure

    ReplyDelete
  66. SO sad when it comes to fashion to be in the Midwest. Contrary to some people's belief-the St Louis location is settled in a wonderfully fashion forward area (mid-westerners do not all live on farms:) But we have NOTHING special in our store. It is SO lame--they get a selection of sizes in the nice jackets and then when they are gone-they're gone, we get all the basics, like cashmere, matchstick cords, T-shirts, I mean it is really bad. Come on J Crew--Frontenac needs more product and more of the unique, great product others are mentioning here! Things have already been in the store from this NEW catalog (that hasn't been released yet) and the stuff is already on sale?!! We haven't even seen the likes of these items!
This bothers me--must I live in NYC/Chicago etc to reap the benefits??

    ReplyDelete
  67. the orange (yellow?) dress with the jewel neckline is amazing. I love the retro feel. Don't see an item page for it online yet, though. :/

    ReplyDelete
  68. LOVE the Penny Jacket!! What color though?? Black is so eh--been there done that but the honey glaze or that Ivory--hmmm. I just don't want to tire of honey glaze but it is darling and different--love that ivory--what does everyone think??!

    ReplyDelete
  69. Okay--here's an example of STRANGE! FFM you will follow me in this as you introduced me to these--on pg 45 of the new catalog--these pleated silky tops have been on sale and in the stores are virtually gone! I have one in every color as I love them so much:) So weird though.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Sorry to leave a play-by-play of the new catalog..I guess I am just EXCITED:)
Don't cha just love the easy, feminine look of the gal on page 47. Pretty in pink (doesn't hurt that she is GORGEOUS!)

    ReplyDelete
  71. convert5: I am LOVING that Penny Jacket as well! I really love the black too though. I think it's really classic. Gosh, it makes me second guess my Astrid in Charcoal...hmmmm.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Ack - 198 for the handknit cable pullover - guess I will be waiting on that. As I look at the Astor more closely, I love it a bit more - again waiting a long time on that! Thought the pintuck jersey tee is very cute and LOVE the colors...don't know why, they are fairly common colors.
    svid

    ReplyDelete
  73. I am LOL right now because I KNOW everyone is off looking at the NEW online catalog right now and not making many comments-:) ;) :)

    ReplyDelete
  74. WAIT--there are MANY new things on the now working website--maybe THAT's where you all are right now!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Oh, I had been calling the color of the grosgrain cardi "chalk" but it's actually "champagne". All I had was CHA so I had to make a guess.

Anyway, convert5 I'm sure that's where everyone is, LOTS to take in! :) Yay!

    ReplyDelete
  76. also, final sale has a TON of stuff from like a year ago... I am already up $300 in my shopping cart, and only one item for the bf! (but who knows what's going to magically disappear... darn website!)

    ReplyDelete
  77. the patent leather coat (Lucido) is awful. yuck! But the greta jacket (orange houndstooth, originally in crewcuts) is in womens sizes now, yay!

    ReplyDelete
  78. I also love the silk/taffeta belle skirt in eggplant - very pretty
    svid

    ReplyDelete
  79. Oh...so the Houndstooth Greta DID make it on this time around...YAY...wish it came in black and white, though. :)

    ReplyDelete
  80. There's a lot going on in final sale that looks to be OLD. Like the charlie cord jacket? I don't remember this! Or the Kaylie Wool jersey dress? I like these both.
I worry that the Kaylie dress might make me look pregnant...

    ReplyDelete
  81. I did a bad thing...acted on impulse and ordered the black metallic bouclé houndstooth clea jacket and the ivory bouclé tweed penny jacket!

    ReplyDelete
  82. tammylee: They are FABULOUS choices to be impulsive on! Please post once you receive them and let us know what you think. :)

    ReplyDelete
  83. tammylee: Congrats!!! You HAVE to report back on those!

    ReplyDelete
  84. ffm: I will...and I'm hoping you'll help me figure out what to wear with them!

    ReplyDelete
  85. Anyone know what the hadley sweater jacket that is on sale is and how it fits?? It looks very cute!! I would REALLY appreciate any help!

    ReplyDelete
  86. ok, it's waaay out of my price range, but I am really digging the cashmere academy cardigan, aka the grandpa sweater.

    ReplyDelete
  87. ... I think I might end up skipping lunch because I am so preoccupied with looking at all the new stuff, LOL! Happy Friday to us! :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. I surprised that is the Felicia! The color looks totally different and it seems shorter. The online cat. pics looks fuschia pink and I like that alot more than the muted red pink in looked in store

    ReplyDelete
  89. There are a lot of monochromatic looks in this catalog. I am loving all the pink and plum. There may not be much new but it is making me want everything.
I can't wait until mine comes in the mail. Something so rewarding about sitting out on my porch with a new crew catalog

    ReplyDelete
  90. Both the grosgrain-bow and chiffon-bow city tee cardis look super cute. Does anyone have any info re:sizing on these two items? Is it pretty similar to the Jackie? Thanks. Wish there is a B&M here...

    ReplyDelete
  91. I was able to order the italian boucle skirt (low inventory) in my size and the houndstooth greta jacket! Can't wait to see them in person. I also met the nicest online PS shopper ever. I am having a really good morning :)

    ReplyDelete
  92. oh, btw, please be aware that the Sketchbook Rose Belle runs a little small. I laid it on top of the paintbrush belle (both size 6)and the Sketchbook skirt is about an inch smaller in the waist and about 4 inches fuller (at the widest point). The material is pretty stiff too. I do still think the print is gorgeous though!

p.s. I know that kitsmommy also had the same experience so just be prepared before buying it.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hi all, this is OT, but I really need help. Does anyone own the cashmere V-neck from this season in either size M or L? If you do, could you post the measurements? I called to ask measurements, but I have strong suspecions they are off. TIA!

    ReplyDelete
  94. weab: What colors did the B&M store carry in the grosgrain city tee cardigan? on-line is only showing champagne (which I already ordered)

    ReplyDelete
  95. casual-crew: Congrats! my b&m had it in a slate gray with the same buttons. But the ribbon was in a different place. I can't remember where exactly, but I think it was on one pocket at the top? Not sure. I do remember that I left that one behind (although I loved the color) because the details were not as exciting as the champagne one. HTH!

    ReplyDelete
  96. weab: Thanks, after hearing you describe it I glad I ordered the champagne one.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I wasn't very impressed by a lot of the things. Most of what I do like is either way too expensive for my college student budget or just not practical. But, I do really like the chiffon bow city tee cardigan. It's a good price, so I think I'll grab it when I buy my matchstick cords.

    ReplyDelete
  98. Alexis, thanks for the preview. This catalog seems to be a transition from late summer to early fall/winter. Rather than a total change it moves from one season to another. There are some great new things, but much of it is a carryover and rightly so. It's smart to gradually change the items; that way we keep coming back to the website or store to see what's new.

I actually like this system. Things I've already bought are still being shown making me feel like I picked some good things as they are still popular and being featured and there are enough new things to get me wanting them without blowing the budget. (I did that in September, time for me to slow it down.)

Once I get my hands on the catalog next week I'll be able to really decide what I must have and can't live without. You know how it goes, I consume therefore I am.

    ReplyDelete
  99. Haven't seen the new catalog yet. I thought card members were supposed to get it early. Thanks for sharing the images, I love the large flower pins! So great for changing the look of a dress, jacket, cardigan or even some handbags. I did get J.Crew's email but when I tried to check out the website I got an error. Haven't been able to see all the new items yet. thanks for the blog!

    ReplyDelete
  100. The flower pins are very pretty - but since they are only "a handful", they'll probably be pretty pricey! I just went over to etsy.com and picked this one up for $12:

    http://ny-image1.etsy.com/il_fullxfull.36424825.jpg

Search "flower pin" and there's a bunch of stuff.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Great idea Silver-lining!
Jcrew says the flowers are Dulken&Derrik. Looks like you can buy direct from them on their website Here

    ReplyDelete
  102. anon @ 12:24 PM: I am wearing the city-tee cardi now and it runs very TTS. If I wanted something very form fitting, I could have easily gone down a size - but my regular size offers a bit of room for layering and shrinking. I would definitely not go up a size! I don't have a Jackie, so I'm not sure how it compares! Hope that helps :)

  103. Shannon thanks for the link. Looks like you can get some nice flowers on sale, a set for 3 for $15 for example. By contrast, JC finally put the flower pins up and they are selling for $85-$125 each. It's getting to the point with JC that things are priced way beyond any quality reflection and more for the apparent purpose of totally suckering/ripping off whatever willing customers they can find.
The $450 novelty print jacket is another example of an insult.

  104. Hi everyone, I got a new catalog today and found out a $25 off card inserted in the middle of catalog. It is good for $25 off towrad any purchase of $125 or more at local J.Crew store(expired October 5th). What a good surprise!

  105. I found the prettiest black and white flower pin/clip...it comes with both types of attachments for clothes and hair for only $4 at a local store (in the UK--New Look) They had a ton and are so pretty and nice! I grabbed some for my sister and friends in the US. Keep looking if you really want a floral pin...many to be found for less unless it HAS to say JCrew for you:) wink:)
