Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. OT, but I recently purchased some face masks from a J.Crew blogger on Etsy. They’re beautiful and well made non- medical masks. A Lobster Print which can be worn with any of the J. Crew Lobster clothing; a beautiful Flamingo Print and lots of Liberty Prints.

    1. I bought a few too! They are beautiful. Seller is CashmereandJCVault if anyone is interested. I bought a polka dot and liberty print one.

I also received my J.Crew masks last week. I like that they're lightweight and I will definitely be wearing them a lot this summer. The elastic is similar to the disposable masks but stretch nicely (I need a little longer elastic on mine so have preferred ones with adjustable straps).

    2. @Anne, I purchased the Jcrew ones too. I like the Blue and White Striped one and gave away the other 2 . Fabric is very nice but other than that there’s not much to them but is at a good price point. The Flamingo print from Etsy is so cute especially with the Jcrew Flamingo tee. I also wear with the Lime Green Linen long sleeve shirt and anything else that fits my fancy. I’m going to order a few more prints from her. Everyone over here is going crazy for both. Enjoy yours! Stay safe and healthy to you and everyone here.

    3. oh I will definitely check those out, would love a liberty print one. I ordered some masks from Grayers clothing that are nice (just plain blue - like a mens shirting material) and also some from Madewell that are still en route.

    4. Those masks look great from CashmereandJC, I had looked at them before but sadly shipping to Canada is $27 so it’s not worth it for me otherwise I would absolutely buy one. The JCrew ones won’t ship to Canada at all.

    5. @jan, do you have any friends across the border that could mail them to you? I think the shipping is a little high on Etsy for these although the seller is looking for other shipping sources. $10.00 for 2 lightweight masks when I ordered was a little too high for my liking. If I were still in the States I would happily send them to you.

    6. I got the J.Crew 3-pack of masks too. The fabric is much thinner than the quilting fabric I used to make my own masks. I haven't worn the J. Crew masks yet, but I think the thinner fabric will be good for the summer heat. My hesitation about them is that there is no wire at the top to shape to my nose to keep it from sliding. It might be okay though. The elastic is thinner than I used for my homemade masks too, but maybe it will be more comfortable.

    7. @Lynn, I hope that you’re enjoying being back home! I live right on the border and normally I would just order things to a ups store in the US and go across to pick things up but our border is closed until at least the end of July.

I was going to reply in the other thread about the Ratti pants. I’m so glad that you’re enjoying them! I have the Montauk tee also and that’s a great idea for a pairing. We still haven’t had a promo since before Mother’s Day, pants are still $247 here which is crazy. Otherwise I would’ve tried them by now.
I hope you enjoy the lobster dress. I’ve worn mine twice, it’s very light which is nice for summer. I hope it holds up well though due to the lightness of it.

  2. @jan, how I wish I could help you out on the ordering story and the pricing. I think it’s terrible the way the company is being so neglectful of its neighbors. All is well her, nice weather, great unbelievable shopping deals with high end, low end everyone. I remember you suggested a white tee with the pants and it was upon your suggestion I went with the Montauk tee. I will wear the dress and let you know how I like it or rather if it likes me. Weather is perfect for it. I don’t know if I mentioned that I purchased the Lobster Sweater Jacket twice and it has a difficult zipper. I spoke with a long term CS employee and she took off a $100.00. So this was an excellent deal and she was so pleasant and helpful. I enjoy speaking with the real experts who know what their speaking about. It’s not worth the full price at all by the way. Also purchased one of those Sundry Weekend tees. I was curious at to what it was like with only one review which was poor. The reviewer was correct. Same CS took 60.00 off for me there were a couple of loose threads. I will say these tees aren’t worth more than $10.00. I do like though especially because of the price. Hope Jcrew gets their act together and starts taking care of their Canadian customers. I think I will send an email and demand why they aren’t do so. Will post reply.

    1. That’s so sweet of you, thank you. It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying being back! I really like the look of the lobster sweater, I think it was a good seller. Perfect for chilly evenings. Sounds like you’ve gotten some great deals which is nice since we can all use some retail therapy I’m sure.
