Seek & Find: Will you visit J.Crew this Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopping by a J.Crew store this weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

P.S. I noticed that many of you have already been reporting sale items (and in which stores) in other posts which by the way "thank you!" :) I really appreciate how helpful we are for each other!

  1. Considering purchasing the Cameron slim crop pant in stretch seersucker J3540 in classic fit but unsure of sizing. I own the gingham Martie pant in the classic fit in size 0 from a few seasons ago. Does anyone know how the sizing for the two styles differs? The reviews are mixed, wondering if I should size up or not for the Camerons...

    1. I wear a 2 in the Marties. (I own a few Marties.) I did not keep them but I remember preferring a 4 in the Cameron pants. I don't remember which version of the Camerons tho.

    2. I like Marties and they fit me well. Camerons have less room in the thighs & rear, cut for a figure with slim legs. I wear a 4 in Marties, but can't do a 6 in Camerons as the waist gaps. But I imagine a different figure would have a different outcome.

    5. I have the seersucker Camerons from last year as well, I took my regular JC bottom size. Because the seersucker has stretch, it negates the Camerons' slimmer fit so you don't need to size up. Mine are so comfy - I wore them traveling in Portugal last spring and they were perfect for long days out and long train rides as well. And the length was great for wearing with sneakers, ballet flats and sandals.

  3. Stopped in store to make a few returns. Store still has 70% off sale. Lobster Print dress wasn't marked down, but it rang up as 70% off. Fit is tts; there's a zip, an elastic back and pockets. Lots of sale inventory.

  4. Dresses were 70% off and everything else was 40%. Couldn't try clothes on, so I took a few home to try. Sadly nothing worked out. I did buy two pairs of shoes at 70% off though.

  5. @Mygoddy, Thanks to you for the tip on the Lobster Print dress. Called the store where I normally shop when I’m in the States, they gave me the 70%off plus an additional discount. Wonderful deal!!

  6. The Ratti Poly Regatta Print pants are wonderful. Wore them over the weekend with the Montauk Tee from last year and received tons of compliments. Friends were asking if the pants were some high end designer brand. The print is really beautiful and TTS. I also like the Linen Peyton Sailor Pants in navy. Had trouble with the fit initially but once I found the proper size they worked out. Statement necklace Tropical Bloom in Multi AL158 which I purchased for $27.00 recently is really pretty and I don’t understand why it isn’t more popular. It works well the with Linen Popover Multi Rainbow Print top and other tops. Love it!! Compliments galore! There’s a pair of Donut Socks that are embroidered. Absolutely adorable. A lot of the socks for men fit me my feet comfortably. I purchased the crabs and lobsters, sailboats and buoys. I’m a size 10 M with a narrow heel in shoes for reference.
