    2. Wow. That's unbelievable!

It was briefly working last night... Long enough to address an issue with a shirt with CS.

  2. They REALLY need to do an extra % off sale stuff. I have a pair of pants just sitting there and I won't buy them because they're more expensive then the regular price stuff right now when you consider the various % off deals.

    1. Agree - I don't even look at the sale section anymore and I used to check religiously every morning. The prices are too high and I can get new merchandise for less.

    2. Actually I did look at sale and found a black #2 double serge wool pencil skirt at $29. I would usually order a regular length skirt, but the regular length was $120. Petite at $46. So I went with a Tall 2. Perhaps with heels I will like the length, or I can return, or do the work to shorten it.

    3. I snagged a Tall 2 also for only $29. I couldn't pass that up.

  3. Website wasn't working properly when I checked this morning. 2200+ items in sale and no % off...no thanks. I could pull sale up but when I went to view specific items I got an error message that they couldn't find the page. Get it together, J.Crew!

In non-vent news, if you are on Instagram, @kristymayn from the Brookfield store posted several sneak peek photos of the holiday rollout. Lots of black stewart plaid and some red tartan as well and some pretty sweaters which I'll be curious to hear what the fabric content is.

    1. Website was/is the same for me. I did manage to purchase two plaid card holders when I woke up during the night. I will use one to hold a gift card for my son's kindergarten teacher.

I'm loving the pictures from Brookfield on insta, especially the sweaters, but everything depends on fabric content.

    4. Website STILL not working for me. Anyone else getting an error message and only seeing 1/2 of the product pictures? I give up!

    5. ^ yes. Only half of the product pics for me too.

  4. The website is working for me but the 40% off doesn't included the coat I want. Such pricing games!

  5. Trying to place an order (a few cute new things) but getting an error page now. I don't expect them to never have tech mistakes but this is getting to be really distracting.

  8. Cross posted in reviews, finally not a vent. The only vent will be if CS doesn't exchanged for the other size I ordered with my rewards.

Received the merino turtleneck with the balloon sleeves. It's really nice. Nicer than expected. Not sure about fit. I ordered the XS, S and XXS. the XS fits in the shoulders nicely but is a tiny bit loose and short in the torso (long narrow torso here). With 8" rise jeans (on my hip bone) it just touches the top. I'll try the other sizes with different bottoms to see what works, but I think the style is really pretty and the material is ribbed but has a nice sheen. Didn't read content but I think it's all wool. Not itchy. Black looks to be a true black.

    1. Glad to hear you found your black sweater. I actually tend to prefer merino to cashmere. I wore balloon sleeves when I was a kid in the 1970's - it's a look I am happy to see again.

    2. Yes, something about the sleeves reminds me of the late 1970s or 80s but in a good way since they're not overly dramatic. The sweater is a little dressier for everyday wear than I need but still will be useful since a nice black turtleneck is such a staple to me.

  9. Any perfect fit tee fans out there? I'm disappointed in the new tees I received from the latest release. The fabric seems thinner and they've done something to the binding on the neckline. It appears to me to be wider binding, which might be necessary due to the thinner fabric. Why they'd screw up a good thing is beyond my comprehension!

    1. I don't know about the perfect fit tee, but I had a similar experience with the perfect fit striped turtleneck. I loved the one I got last year, so I picked up another one. Style code was the same, but the knit/fabric and fit were noticeably different What a disappointment. I think they should not recycle the style code when they make changes.

    2. I should add that it was H0552 and that the old version I have has a J Crew label but this new one had a Mercantile label. Now that I think of it, I should probably put a review on the website to warn people about the changes

    3. I’ve noticed for a long time that the thickness of the perfect fit tee fabric sometimes varies dramatically from season to season. I recently tossed some older ones that were much thinner than the ones I purchased recently.
