Sought & Found: Did you visit J.Crew this {past} Weekend?

This is the weekly "sale watch" post, to help each other find sale items at our various local J.Crew stores. ;)

If you are stopped by a J.Crew store this past weekend to see what's available (if anything!) in the SALE, or to see some NEW ARRIVALS {sigh!} in person, maybe you might be willing to share that with us in this post. In particular, if you could share with us a few of the noteworthy items that are available, at what prices, and potential sizes the store is carrying (as well as the store location)- that would be fantastic!

Also, please let us know if your local store was/ is carrying an additional percent off sale. Thanks in advance!!! :)

  1. Curious if anyone knows when the next (Fall) roll-out will be, two weeks from today?
Looking forward to seeing pictures from the style guide!

  2. I'm not sure when the next roll out will be, but I was told by a SA that concept stores typically receive new arrivals a month before the rest of the stores do. If you live in the NYC area, it's the Brookfield Place mall.

    1. Hi Fran, I live in SF. I figured since the last online roll-out was Monday, the 15th..J.Crew always launches the next roll-out a month after, that is why I am guessing two weeks from today, which would be July 13th.

    2. I was told that there will be a super small rollout on July 6, and then another rollout on July 21/22.

  3. I did visit the clearance center and was able to find several items that have been sold out that I had really wanted...the uptown tote in bright flame, the linen metallic regent blazer, the garment died military popover in both the khaki and the bright blue. I sized down one in these and I love them so much. I snatched them up the minute I walked in the door and spotted them hanging on the rack. I also found the metallic-striped ikat popover (only one but in my size) :) I was on the fence about the metallic trim when I saw it in store but for $18.00, I think I like it. Also grabbed a pair of Harbor shorts for almost nothing. I really like the fit of them. It was well worth the trip. They have a huge selection of swimwear if anyone is in the area and looking. Almost forgot, I had ruined my no. 2 cotton twill pencil skirt that I bought last year just a few weeks ago. Guess what, because they have older stuff sometimes, found one. Yes!!!!! That really made my day.

    1. What great finds! I don't understand the Clearance Center, though. For example, the military popovers are usually sold out on the retail web site, but they're in the Clearance Center? Is there a small defect and that's why things are there? A lot of the things you got there are very recent.

    2. About 99% of what is in the clearance store is not damaged or stained in anyway. The stuff that is stained, marked "sample", picked, or torn is will show up in a cardboard box at the warehouse sale. They go through stuff before it goes out on the floor at the store although you do have to double check it. They brought out one of the whisper lame camp shirts in my size but it did have a small tear along the seam, so I did not buy it.

    3. Is that invite only? if not what are the days/times its open, I'm willing to dive out to lynchburg.

    4. FAF - The Lynchburg store is open Mon - Sat 10-8 & Sun 10-6. The warehouse sales happen occasionally but the store is open daily. I am an hour away & go as often as I can!

    5. The Arden store is open the same hours I believe. If you go on Saturday, go early. Friday is the best day to go because they are stocking for the weekend and they have access to look in the back for stuff. They do not have access on the weekend.

  4. OT: Browsing the website while eating lunch at my desk and found the Frenchie slicker in the sale section. That came out, when -- 2009, maybe?
