J.Crew Updates Website with New Arrivals!

"Thanks!" to many of you, who let us know that J.Crew had an update to its website (click here to view online).

There are some new arrivals for men (click here) & women (click here). {wahoo!} It looks like Crewcuts (click here) has been updated, but not the J.Crew Collection (click here).

The catalog link has been removed. However I have the old one, and it still shows the May catalog (click here to view) is still up. J.Crew always posts several images of the newest catalog over at Pinterest (click here to view).

Promotion Time! J.Crew is reminding customers that they are offering (1) 30% off select regular priced items, and (2) 30-50% select sale items with promo code GOSHOPPING. This offer ends June 21, 2015! They are also offering free shipping on all orders today!!!

What items are you most excited about and why? Which items are you surprised (or not surprised) to see? Which items did you hope would be included? Were you expecting a bigger roll-out? Also, did you receive the latest catalog? :)

  1. Kind of in love with the pleated V-neck dress in Italian wool.

  2. There are lots I like in this rollout, but the basketweave pencil skirt is high on my list. :)

  3. Personally love the FREE SHIP part of the promo!

  4. Even though I'm having bad luck with stuff lately, I ordered a couple of things. I like a couple of the collection things, but they will probably sell out fast.

  5. Excuse me JC, but it looks like there’s an extra “1” in the price for the ruffled cotton cami (c6248).

    1. I thought the same thing this morning! I could buy a whole dress for that!!

    2. Hehe. and an extra 5 it Collection chambray striped tapestry dress - c1054! Which King this tapestry belonged to?? That would justify the $600 price tag for a dress made of Polyamide/poly/acetate!

This is why you get ridiculed on open letters, and other form of social media. This is beyond isane. Sorry.

    3. I see several really great pieces - mostly dresses and skirts from the Collection line. The inky floral print and watercolor mosaic are my favs. But the prices are insane, especially in shells/tops. a $240 for the inky floral shell? or $500 for item C8086?

  6. 3 things caught my eye: the Super 120's pleated top and pull-on pants (would rather the pants had a different shape though) and the Downing tote with an interior pocket. I have held off buying this tote over time because it lacked a pocket for keys etc.

I really like the Super 120's fabric (I'm wearing a pencil skirt of it today) and I like this muted blue. Wish they carried these items in-store.

    1. That outfit caught my eye, too. Love the color and how the pieces walk a nice line between casual and formal. I know what you mean about the pants -- but as a late convert to the Curator pants, I've found that shape to be better than I expected (and I'm pear shaped)

  7. The one thing I wanted - collection inky floral dress - sold out as I was processing my order. Boooooo :-(

    1. Wow, the collection dresses are flying. It looks like the Watercolor Mosaic is completely gone already. The Inky Floral dress is stunning!! I hope you can get it on a pop-back.

    2. The watercolor floral dress is beautiful - and the front slit isn't too low! It had already sold out by the time I saw the new arrivals this morning. Too bad the skirt version isn't wearable - I have to be able to sit down without showing my underwear.

  8. I decided to take advantage of the promo (and the free shipping!) to order the cropped wide-leg trouser in ikat.

  9. I want to much stuff in this rollout. Will have to pick and choose. Or wait and see if anything goes on sale. But the suiting dresses and the circle skirt and crop top in geo brushstroke have caught my eye.

  10. I was going to order the geo brushstroke dress, but apparently it is excluded from this promotion. Boo. :( I ordered the striped tee dress last night since the regular sizing is back in stock; I do wish they had re-stocked the petite sizing on that dress as well, but oh well.

  11. Has anyone seen the "aztec rust" (one of the b8521 Martie pant colors) in person? On the website, it looks like a bright persimmon on the model, but the product close-up shows a muted red-brown. I'm guessing it's probably the more muted color, but was hoping the experts here could weigh in.

    1. I saw them in store. They are more muted but not a dirty dull color. I thought they were gorgeous. They are not neon or too bright.

    2. It is a really nice cinnamon color. Not too bright, but also not muted. HTH

  12. Have just tried the short sleeved popover C5096 . I was looking forward to this one. I wanted both colors. tried on in store.....those sleeves are just terrible. this is what is going wrong .// they ruined a basic shirt. i had the dress in this style ordered...back it goes when it arrives. one item i did like after trying on was the seashore pants.

  13. Anyone use their birthday coupon ($25 of $100) in a store? I want something 30% off but online you have to choose whether to use the 30% off or the birthday coupon. Want to see if a store will honor the coupon and the sale price but don't want to trek out to a store only to be disappointed.

    1. it is a gamble. but it could pay off,

    2. do not care for the geo brushstoke pattern. reminds me of pillow cushion fabrics

    3. but i love the water color mosiac. go figure

    4. They will take the $25.00 off your $100.00 purchase no matter what other discounts were applied, at least they did for me. They take it as a form of payment not really an additional discount.

    5. I tried to use mine over the phone using a VPS to place the order. No go. It was explained to me that the card was meant to be used for items not on promotion (so you could get a promotion). I was able to use it in store on a purchase over $100. All the promotions applied, then the SA just took off $25, which was pro-rated among the items. Yay! I definitely appreciate the offer, but question providing a birthday promotion with all these strings. A regular gift card could save a lot of frustration and conversations with online and in-store representatives.

    6. I used it in the store this weekend after being unable to use it online with the promo. I wanted to use it on the boyfriend chino but my store didn't have them- so the SA ordered the pants for me and then applied the promo to the two linen tees I bought (which was a separate charge and on promo so wound up knocking those down to $15/each.)

    7. My store made me choose between the 30% discount and the birthday coupon. So sad - I was looking forward to using it. You pretty much cannot really use it, because there's always a "sale" of some sort at J.Crew. Kind of bummed, knowing other JCAs got to use it but cannot complain -my store is pretty great overall.

  14. Item B7786 in the sale section -- isn't that just the tilly sweater under a new name?

    1. Lol, definitely! I guess since Tilly's name has been dragged through the mud they had to change it. Although, they haven't changed the name of the cardigan...

    2. Nice catch, cobalt! If one read reviews, can still see the name Tilly used in those, hehe. Poor Tilly, got scapegoated like those fired employees - it is just one sweater in the sea of misfitted, overpriced, one-season junk quality clothes. Plenty of items with much worst reviews.

  15. Lightweight sweatshirt in deep blue stripe #c6678 you had me with sweatshirt. I really have a fleece addiction and this one in the deep indigo colour is great looking. Liked it alot but when I spied free shipping and 30% off I was in love!

Now to hide my credit card from myself and stop clicking for a few weeks. (Yeah good luck with that one).
